There are several..right? Which one do you recommend. I have a 4 year old boy, and a 7 yr old daughter.

TIA,
Jeanne

You can book them by calling 407-WDW-DINE 90 days in advance. :) If your daughter is in to princesses, then breakfast in the castle at Cinderella's Royal Table would probably be a hit but be warned that it's a challenge to get! You have to call right when they open at 7 am EST at exactly 90 days out and the seatings are all gone by 7:15. Check out this thread for advice on scoring a seating for it. There is another princess breakfast at Epcot called the Princess Storybook Breakfast but Cinderella can't make it to that one as she is busy hosting her breakfast at the castle. ;) As for other characters, Chef Mickey's is our favorite! It helps that my sons are HUGE monorail fans and this one is in the Contemporary where the monorial zooms over the buffet so between the monorail and Mickey, it's always a hit. Crystal Palace for Pooh and Friends is another favorite of ours too. :)

Hope you have a great trip!

Best is completely subjective:

Are you sure you want breakfast? Lunch, dinner and the ice cream social are other options.

Which characters are you interested in - the big ones are Princesses, Pooh, and the classic characters (Mickey, Goofy, Minnie, etc).?

Where will this fit in your schedule? A lot of people like Chef Mickey's for dinner on arrival day, or breakfast at the closest resort on the day they leave. Others like to take a mid day break in the MK for Crystal Palace.

Is serving style important to you? Most are buffets, some are plated, others family style. Buffets give you greater variety, but you'll need to get your own food. We prefer to have ours brought to us.

Our tradition is the Ohana breakfast (though I'm considering Cape May next trip). It isn't Disney unless we have our picture taken with Mickey (Cape May has Minnie, but not Mickey), its served family style, and we have the flexibility of not requiring park admission - so we can do it on the day we leave.

In-park is Crystal Palace with Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet. The restaurant is bright and pretty, we always liked the food, and the characters are such fun!

Out-park is Chef Mickey's. As the other poster said, it's fun to ride the monorail before or after eating.........there's also a sort of balcony you can go out on right under the monorail outside and a great view of the castle. The Big Cheese is head chef here........and my kids absolutely must see Mickey at the beginning of the vacation (plus then you don't have to stand in line in Toon Town to see him), the antics are fun, and the kids love their choices at the buffet.

We love the Cape May...We always stay at the bc and that way we can eat early and still get to the parks for when they open...usually Minnie, Goofy, Chip, and Dale attend...sometimes others. The lunch with the characters in the Garden Grill is cute, and so is the Crystal Palace! princess: :wizard: pirate:
