When do Fla schools get out?

Not really sure where to post this ?, but when do Fla. schools get out for summer? Please tell me it's not 'til after May 11

Also, South west Georgia is out May 25th

Wow, that's great news! I am being sorely tempted by Southwest Airlines $98 RT airfare, and am considering a surprise weekend trip for my Dds in early May. I realize weekends are still busier with local folks, but hoping it won't be too bad. Does anyone know how crowded weekends are at that time of year?

Most of them will be windingup by the first of June. Dates vary according to school district.

Basically, most Florida schools get out between May 18th and Memorial Day Weekend.

Sorry to be stupid, but where in FL is Pinellas County? I have seen those license places, even around here in Ohio!

Pinellas County is on the west coast,,about 1/2 way down,,that little hook that sticks out. St. Petersburg and Clearwater are there. We get out early,,but then school starts again August 3. ugh.

I don't know what school your kids go to, but I work for the District of Lee County and the public schools get out on May 27th. They have 1/2 days the 25th, 26th & 27th. Last day for teachers is the 28th. I wish it was the 21st!!!

Broward County (South Florida - Ft. Lauderdale area) last day of school is June 10th.

Dang - we will be going to WDW June 5-14. Guess that means we will be vacationing with everyone EXCEPT the Broward County kids. LOL
