When Do Cast Members Kick You Out of the Park After Closing?

Next week I am at the DHS Gate on Wednesday. Park closing is at 7:00 with no F!. I am scheduled on the clock until 9:00. I have had times with this shift when I have had to stay later as all Guests were not out of the Park.

We have three teams that will "sweep" the Park looking for Guests. We do not allow any Guests to go deeper into the Park than we are. Each team has a restaurant "hold point" (SciFi, H&V/50's, HBD) that we cannot pass until the restaurant tells us they are "clear of Guests". We check all rest rooms on the way in our sweep.

Often we will stand around and chat with the Guests, but unless they are the last ones from a restaurant we will not push them to leave. For people who are the last from a restaurant, we will (very nicely) mention to them that we would like to go home, but will stay as long as they want. At some point we will mention that we are about to ask the coordinator or manager to bring out the cattle prods.

The only time that I have ever felt kinda "rushed" to get out of a park was MK on grad nights. It closed at 7:00 pm, and at 6:50 they had CM's pulling out speakers, stages, etc. for grad night in Frontierland and were politely, but firmly, at exactly 7:00 pushing people towards Main Street. It was a little dishartening actually, like a kinda abrupt end to a magical day. I do understand that there was a lot of stuff that needed to be done for grad night, but I felt they could have waited a half hour to clear people out first of the different lands before pulling out set-up large items.
