When did I miss the removal of Fast Passes???

Soooo...we went to DL yesterday for the last time on our yearly passes...they expire this week and we've decided not to renew for a while.

I was all set to do my normal "plan" of doing as many of the kids' favorite rides as possible...which included getting fast passes for certain rides (Buzz Lightyear and Haunted Mansion).....and come to find out there's no more fast passes at either one!!!

I can't believe I missed it...when did that happen? Why? I felt so out of the loop!! LOL! My DH said I must have been off my game, because I'm usually the one that tells him all of the 411 (thanks to this board!).

HM still has FP, but just for the Haunted Holiday version, though not the whole season but at the peak times.

BLAB has had them down for about a month. They are getting repurposed to serve Star Tours when it opens in June.

HM, the regular version, hasn't used FP in multiple years. BLAB's ended in early February. As skiingfast said, they will be used for Star Tours II, which makes more sense. Since the BLAB FP machines have been removed, the line has been long, but moves SO quickly that I haven't seen a line (in the 4 days that I've been since then, including some very busy days) more than 25 min.
