:D Hi,
Just getting my itinerary ready for our Nov./Dec. trip and was wondering if anyone knows when you can start booking the CP dinner package. I can't seem to find the info  .

seems like last year it was toward the end of august/first of september. keep in mind the narrators will not be announced until later in the fall season. good luck!

And if you don't get ps for this, can you still see what's going on? Or is it to get a close seat?

It is the story of the birth of Christ told by a narraitor along with beautiful choral music. To describe it would be impossible since there is really no words to describe the beauty of it. Well worth seeing for anyone.

And the narraitors are usually quite famous...when we went it was Wayne Brady. I would LOVE to be there when Gary Sinese (sp?) does it!!!

The package went on sale in August last year but the narraitors were not announced until October.

Yes, you can still see what is going on. In fact, when we were there last December, there were a lot of people that just stood on the street/sidewalk and watched from the back. Since the theater is open you can do that. We did get the CP package and still waited about 45 minutes in the line. But, we did get pretty decent seats. So, we will do it that way again in Nov. If you don't get the package, you can still get in but you have to wait for about 1/2 hr. or so. Those with the package are allowed in first. Then others are alllowed to take whatever seats are left. It's a beautiful show, that should not be missed.

Is it something children would enjoy? My boys are 5 and 2. Thanks.

We viewed CP twice last year. One with a dinner package and the other standing outside.

To my ears purchasing a dinner package is worth it for a good seat. The sound is much better when sitting close. Just don't sit to close to the horns. Can be very loud.

Thanks for the replies. One more question, if I may. My plan is to have an early dinner at GG and do the last CP at 8:15. Would we still be able to catch illuminations after that?

Illuminations will be at 9:30. Simply find a place to watch and enjoy. Viewing places in WS will be less crowdwd than in FW.
