We just scheduled a VR for our 20th anniversary. We are so excited. It will be in June on the Fantasy on the 7-night Eastern. Does anyone know if they will schedule it on one of the sea days or will it be on a port day?

Hi and Congratulations on your upcoming VOW RENEWAL!!!!!

We just had our 25th aboard the Magic 2 weeks ago.

My choices for were either the 2 sea days (Monday or Thursday) or on Friday on Castaway cay on the beach.

We chose Monday January 23rd, because our actual anniversary is the 24th.
We did it on Deck 7 aft, its a beautiful outdoor venue.

I posted some pictures on the disney cruise chat thread yesterday.
If you have anymore questions I will be happy to answer what I can.

We had a wonderful time!!!!!

Congratulations to you both!
sorry no help on the original question.

Congratulations on your VR and 25 years! I will take a look at your photos. I love to see what people did for their VRs.

I'm so happy they do it at sea. I didn't want to give up a port day. Was it windy because the boat was moving? Also, did you get hair and make up done before the ceremony? I did my own on my wedding day and am excited about having something really nice. If you did, what was the cost and do you have any details about the process? My DD 15 and I want to do it together. I want to add eye lashes (never have had them). Is that possible?

Also, I noticed that we can already book our port adventures, etc when we pay in full and it's 116 days out. Do you concierge level privileges for booking a wedding? My coordinator hasn't called me yet.

I agree about doing it on a sea day. It was perfect we started the day with a brunch at Palo and it was wonderful.
It was a bit windy but not as bad as I thought it would be. I purposely wore my hair up because I didn't want it blowing in my face. It was much more windy on the top deck during pictures. One of my favorite pictures was as the sun was setting behind us and my bangs are across my eye.

I did have my hair done at the salon onboard. I blew it dry the night before so she only had to put it up for me. I also brought a pony tail extension to make it fuller. The cost for her to put it in the up-do was $70.
There was not a person onboard to apply make-up, but the stylist told me that sometimes if there is someone there who can do it they will. She said you would have to supply the make-up.
As far as the eyelashes, I know some of the nail salons here in Florida have some they apply that last for 2 weeks if you wanted to try something like that.
I just bought water-proof lengthening mascara.
I told Shanda ahead of time when I wanted my hair appointment and she scheduled it for me. also, how old is your daughter? There may be age restrictions for the salon.

Yes because of the wedding we were able to book things earlier, nice perk.

Thank you for the information. I saw your pictures on the other thread and you look lovely. I love your dress and your hair is very pretty too.

My DD is 15. If they don't let her participate in the salon with me, I will just cancel the whole thing. I want it to be perfect and to do it all alone would not make it perfect. It costs way too much money to have any disappointments with the experience.

As far as I know, there aren't any age restrictions for the salon specifically. My 5 year old niece was my flower girl and had her hair done in the salon with me. It was really fun!

Thank you! I didn't know who would do her hair if they couldn't do it. That takes off a lot of stress. Sorry I sounded so snippy.

I am so glad to hear that, I so didn't want you to be disappointed.

I had read that on the cruise boards and thought it was strange that on a "family cruise ship" they wouldn't let little girls have their hair and nails done.
