The following has been the situation for many years:

A ticket price increase is announced to WDW front-line ticket CMs on a Friday.
The actual increase goes into effect 2 days later on that Sunday.

If it follows this procedure and the rumored Feb. increase happens,
the announcement to CMs could happen (and word of it should appear on this forum) on one of the next two coming Fridays.

That's so strange. I swear I saw a blurb on the news in the last week to 10 days saying there had been a price increase and a day in the MK was now $105. I remember thinking maybe that was the old price, but wasn't sure so didn't give it another thought.

The current price is $99 plus tax ($6.44), so $105.44. For ONE DAY at the MK. Absolute insanity.

It passed the $100 mark a couple years ago. Tax isn't optional.

I realize that- they were talking price before tax breaking the mark. When comparing prices, it's not unusual to talk pre-tax.

We read an article predicting price increase this Spring, but I'm not sure it's February. As someone mentioned in another thread if you have the money purchase your tickets now. I'm sure they will try to plan an increase before Easter.

It passed the $100 mark a couple years ago. Tax isn't optional.

For those of us military or retired military, passes can be purchased without the sales tax at base ticket offices and probably also at Shades of Green. For the vast majority of folks though, you are correct that the tax isn't optional.

The price increase last year was on Feb. 23rd. Betting it is next week…. We went ahead and ordered our AP's just in case….I need to get them by May anyway in order to do our FP+...

Bet it won't. Besides, when you look at the "other option" in Orlando, price for a single day ticket is about the same, only you don't get any version of a fp with them. That's additional.

I have no problem with what speculation says is going to be around $5- seems modest to me actually. For those that think they're getting ripped off, just don't give them your vacation dollars anymore. Problem solved.

I must agree. That is HIGH. I think many,many people will see that number and walk away dejectedly.....If I went online.tried to price out a vacation,and saw that,without further research,I would know that I couldn't do it,and most people I know couldn't do that. :-(
