when '09 rates come out apply AAA discount?

We currently have a room only reservation at ASMu for May 2009, I want to apply our AAA discount but don't know when we're able to do it. I know AAA has a certain # of rooms they open up the discount for and I want to make sure we get it. Basically...can I call and apply our AAA discount as soon as I hear the 2009 rates are out? is there a way to know when the 2009 rates will be out, do people post that on the boards or do I have to keep checking disney online?

I would keep checking here to see when the rates are to be released and when the AAA discounts are released. The AAA rates may be released at the same time and they may not, depends on what disney wants to do. But if you read it here that the AAA rates are out, call as soon as you can. If you get a CM who is not sure if the AAA rates are out, ask them to check. Sometimes they are the last ones to know. That happened to me on my last trip, I read it here that the rates were out. When I called the CM said she didn't think so, but she checked for me and was surprised to find out that I was correct.

If you want tickets and dining added that becomes a package. In order to get a package with a AAA room discount, you need to make the reservation through a AAA travel agent. You can not do this directly with disney like you can a room only AAA reservation.
