We have someone going to HHN who uses a wheelchair. She can walk thru the houses but will need the wheelchair at the exit. Can we leave the chair at the entrance and have someone bring it to the exit or do we just have to push it thru the houses?

A couple of years ago we were told wheelchairs had to go in the house and couldn't be left outside

Wheelchairs and other mobility devices must go with you through the houses. Usually the exit is nowhere near the entrance. Someone in the group can push the empty chair though.

Hi! Late response but hope I can help! I hurt my foot last year and spent most of the run in a wheelchair and varied what I did. Some nights I went through the house in the chair, sometimes I pushed the chair, other times I had them take my chair to the exit. Whenever you’re close to going in, you have to speak up quickly and ask that person by the door/right before if they can take it to the exit for you. Sometimes it isn’t clear where exactly it’ll be so you may be confused when you get out. I’ve had to push people before so I knew where to look, though some were more forthcoming with where it would be. It’s also dark in most areas when you come out so squinting to make sure it’s yours happens a lot. I think I was only told a few times last year they didn’t have someone immediately available to take it, so that’s why I ended up pushing it.

I know someone who went to preview with a chair and can confirm that they were able to get their wheelchair taken to the exit for them.

Let me know if you need more info.
