What's Your Thoughts on Monsters Inc Laugh Floor ???

Was there last week ... crowded park and hot, hot, hot. It is indoors, sit down, and a 10 minute wait ... what additional info did we need!?! It was fun ... would do it again, even on a cool day!

Saw the show last Wed. DW, DS's 9 & 12 and myself loved it. Great attraction to get off your feet for a while and have a good belly laugh. We had good stars in the audience, I could see where the jokes may stall if they pick the wrong people.

YIKES !!!
My brain would freeze and wouldn't be able to think of one........
Then what happens ??!!

I'll make sure to go in prepared with a few one liners!!!

We went twice last week. My 8 year old son loved it. My husband found it amusing as well. Just my luck, they put my face up on the screen and stuck a microphone in front of me, and I had to have a monster read my mind. My son really got a kick out of that!

I don't hear to much about this attraction....
Is it a ride thru, sit down ????
Where is it located ???
Any good ???? I was hoping it would be awesome !! The possibilities to do something cool with this Pixar film are really good.....
Please give me any feedback/comments !!!

THANKS:sulley: :sulley: :sulley: :sulley: :sulley:

the kids loved this show.. they want to get picked this time around tho
its a sit down show that talks and plays with you .. fun fun!!

We've done it a few times and had fun each. I even got chosen to be "THAT GUY" the last time we went in the winter. My kids loved watching me get picked on! I still have tthe sticker as a momento of my "celebrity."

I hated turtle talk but LOVE LOVE LOVE monsters inc. It's my favorite attractions in all the parks. The actors really know how to appeal to both adults and kids and can pick up on the audience responses (ie what makes you laugh vs what you don't like) and play it up.
I've been about 7 times in the past 4 weeks and haven't seen the Boo/Mike story at all.. maybe they've done away with it? I know they vary the shows but I haven't seen that one since Feb.

It was funny and a good attraction, but it is too short for a comedy show. Otherwise it was great

FI was picked as Sully when we went in January. We both loved it (FI's in his late 20's and I'm in my early 20's).

The monster inc laugh floor is located in tomorrowland in MK. It is a show in a theater. First you stand and watch a pre show in a room which to me is not good if your chlostaphobic. Then, you sit in rows in the theater.

To me, I'm not too crazy about the show. In this show, they do pick on people in the audience and I'm kind of shy so I'm always afraid they will pick on me, but luckily, the past 3 times I've seen it, they haven't.
If you like this sort of thing, then you'll probably like the show.

I think most people like it and think its funny, but to me, its just ok.

This is exactly what I thought of it. I know it's always compared to Crush at Epcot...Crush is MUCH better!

I happen to be VERY good friends with one of the Monster's and he is HYSTERICAL. This is a must do!!

During soft open my brother was That Guy...all day people kept yelling, hey it's that guy...so funny!

What OR Who is THAT GUY ???
And can a Girl be THAT GUY ?????

AND........One poster stated it was where the old Timekeeper attraction was, quick someone refresh my mind, I can't remember what the Timekeeper was & I know I've done it.......
Just wondering !!

Across from Stitch.

That guy is a punchline...they keep telling different jokes and the punchline is THAT GUY, and they will keep putting the same guest up on the screen.

I thought it was a delight the first time I saw it. Repeat viewings are not as delightful. There's nothing wrong with that though. There are plenty of first-timers to fill that theater many times over in a day. I say overall it adds to MK even though I don't imagine I'll see it again any time soon.
