What's Your Thoughts on Monsters Inc Laugh Floor ???

DBF and I are in our twenties and we liked it. DBF is shy so was a bit nervous of being picked but he managed to get over his concerns and went back for a second go! It's genuinely funny and not too cheesy. I agree with the previous poster, however, that the pre-show area is a little claustraphobic..

xx

Dh and I liked it. We are in our 50s.

Unfortunately, I got picked to tell a joke. I should have had a sign hanging around my neck that said, "Do not pick. Intense stage fright." The light hit me, I looked up, and there I was on the screen. And then they expected me to talk. Tell a joke. Utter silence on my part. Ok tell a knock knock joke. I tried, it flopped. Very embarrassing. But, hey, I'm in Disney World and none of those people are ever going to see me again!

I'd go again, but I would not sit in one of the seats that has a light in front of it. Save those seats for the hams!

Imagine your performance ending up on YouTube! That's what went through my head as we entered the second time (the first time, I didn't know what the show was like).

Now that I am aware of it !! Thanks for the information & heads-up on that.
I'm glad its not all little kid jokes, its nice to have us parents get a good laugh too!

We saw it for the first time last Aug and thought it was hilarious. One of our favorites!

We really, really enjoyed it. It was a pleasant surprise - very funny and interactive.

I love it, its currently one of my favs in the World right now due to the spontanaeity of it.

im the opposite. I did enjoy it, and it did SEEM spontaneous. However, I have a feeling that if I saw it a second time, it would be very much the same. I would recommend it though..for sure..

We loved it too. It was me and my girlfriend on the trip (lower 20s) and still loved it. It is definitely for people of all ages. It's a smaller type theater with the comedians on the screen. They interact with the people and joke (obviously) with them. Pretty funny stuff. Wish we wouldn't have done it for the first time on the last day!

We saw it a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it. DH was picked in the preshow~a blurb came up on the screen that he would buy everyone in the audience Churros~ and then DS8 was picked towards the end of the show for having "four ears"(Mickey Ears) and was asked a knock knock joke. It sure made his day!

This is one of my favorite rides!
It's so great. It's inside an air conditioned room and you sit down. You're hosts are the Monsters. They tell jokes and they really are quite funny. Also, they put people on a screen. So, if you're lucky you might get to go up there.

It's absolutely adorable! Don't miss it.

Or is this a Fastpass attraction??
Or does the theater seat alot of guests at once?

Just wondering....

we saw it for the first time 2 weeks ago. It was a busy night at MK, and the posted wait said 30 mins for this. We went in anyway and about 3 mins later, they opened the doors and we went in and sat in the theatre. So not sure what the 30 min wait referred to! I thought it was cute and my kids thought it was absolutely hilarious!

To be honest, I thought it was corny and hated it. DH and DD seemed to enjoy the corny-ness of the attraction. :confused3 On our recent trip, they watched it and I waited outside. I think I'm just really turned off by the idea of being put up on a big screen and expected to 'perform' something....I dunno, I guess if that's your thing...just not my idea of fun I suppose.

We went in March and the 4 of us thought it was great!

It's one of those attractions that is ok. do it once but it's not all that memorable. The air conditioning is nice!

I loved it, but I also love Monster's Inc., so I am probably a bit biased! It was a lot better than Turtle Talk, in my opinion.

My whole family really enjoyed it. We plan on definately doing it again this year. :)

Lots of sarcasm there. Reminded me a bit of a Don Rickles routine. OK to go see if there's not much of a wait, but I would not wait too long for this one.
