Vehicle vent

#1, the fools who climb up close behind trucks on a hill. Seriously, how does anyone not know trucks do not have automatic transmissions and will slide back, up to a few feet when the driver is going from a stop to drive on a hill? I have seen to many people get hit by this and every time I just want to shake them. I don't get the confusion. PS- I don't drive a truck or anything but so many are on the roads I can't help but notice this OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

#2, people who do not realize that slowing down to get around someone is an option as effective as speeding up.

#3, people who sight-see while they are driving. How on earth is that a good idea?

#4, tailgating, it's just plain foolish.

#5, passing on the right, it's always wrong. How come some drivers who do not want to get caught in the left lane somehow think it's better to do 90 in the right lane and pass on the right? Did they not take the same drivers license test I did?

Twentysomethings at the grocery store, when someone is standing near the frozen food case selecting a few mini ice cream cups as a treat for her family, it's REALLY NOT NICE to stand behind her and make loud and rude remarks about how the little ice cream cups are for fat people so they feel like they're eating something good but it doesn't pack on the pounds.

(Does that mean the big cartons are for people with big mouths?)

I LOVE these pretty young things!!! It is all I can do not to say "yep, I was once young & skinny, too. Take a look at your future!"

And then wish I could see some of them in about 15 years. And I KNOW how FAST those 15 years will go!!!

How many times do you need to hear that you have the wrong number?? Continuing to call my number will not magically turn it into the right number! You are calling me from a cell phone, so you can tell which digits you pressed!

I hate that too! I also hate the people in traffic who check out the people in the other cars.. this isn't a social hour! Eyes on the road!

I didn't know that. Sorry, I've never known a truck driver before .

I don't stop close behind ANYONE because I drive stick and I roll down a little on steep hills. So I try to help everyone out, not just truckers.

Dear sick and obviously contagious person,

We appreciate your support in coming out to watch our bout. However this is a very small rink, and there are 400 people packed in here shoulder to shoulder. This may not be the best place to take your brand new flu virus out for a walk. I realize your ticket was $10 and you wanted to cheer on your friend. What better way to do that then by sitting in the stands coughing on innocent bystanders for 2 hours straight. And of course you just had to come to the after bout party to enjoy the buffet and socialize with all the skaters. Six of whom, myself included where unfortunate enough to catch the nasty little virus you were dragging around and have been sick for the last 5 days! Maybe next time you are feeling under the weather you should take one for the team and stay away from social gatherings. And for the love of all that is good and right in this world please note that the next time you use the restroom hacking and coughing all over the place the sound that is supposed to follow the flush of your toilet is the running of the water as you WASH YOUR HANDS.

Today--(so I don't get yelled at for starting a new thread )


Dude--a moped is a motorized vehicle does not make you a pedestrian, it doesn't authorize you to use the cross walk so that you can run the red light and get to your precious destination forcing me to slam on my breaks when I have right of way for my own turn on GREEN!!! In other words, regardless of how you were crossing the street and what part you were playing the traffic game--you're an idiot breaking the law.
