What's your favourite Disney song?

Hi all,

Just been listening to my "Ultimate Disney" CD and was trying to decide what my favourite Disney song is. I've narrowed it down to "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast - because Lumiere sings it! I also love "Colours of the Wind" from Pocahontas. The best thing though, is listening to "Dancin’ A Catchy Rhythm" with my eyes closed imagining I'm in DLP watching the parade - happy times!

So what're your favourite songs?

I'm with you Miss Lumiere - I love "Dancin' a Catchy Rhythm". The first time I heard it was when we were having a meal at Sequoia Lodge. Goofy came in with his portable CD player, put that song on and all the children got up to dance around to the music with him!! Very simple, but very cute!!

I also like "Colours of the Wind" and the song from Mulan that Shang sings - I think it's "I'll make a man out of you" Unfortunately that one isn't on the Ultimate CD, otherwise my life would be complete!!!

I love "Dancing a catchy rhythm" (even if it is a bit cheesy!). However, my favourite Disney songs are "Tale as Old as Time" and "He Mele No Lilo"

I think the one that gets to me most is:"When you wish upon a star" because I associate that so much with the start of the parades in WDW but I also love the one that goes:"I know you, I danced with you once upon a dream" (I think that's how it goes) . From the parks either "Chante c'est Noel" or the Halloween one they play throughout October.

I also love the one that goes:"I know you, I danced with you once upon a dream" (I think that's how it goes) . .

I used to drive my Mum mad when I was younger singing that! The only part I knew was "I know you I walked with you once upon a dream", so I just used to sing that part over and over agan. In the end my mum bought me "Sleeping Beauty" in the hopes I would learn the rest of the song!

Another vote for Dancing A Catchy Rhythm! Everytime I hear it I get all nostalgic and emotional, it always makes me want to go to DLP right away!

It's the same with When You Wish Upon A Star. I'll always remember walking through the castle in DL for the first time, with that playing It brought a tear to my eye.

I also love I Wanna Be Like You. So much so that I ended up singing it at a karaoke night last week. It was an experience I don't think my friends will ever forget
