What's your favorite summer event in your hometown?

My town has a week-long celebration of the 4th of July, with a carnival, a road race, basketball, softball, horseshoes and other games, special family activities, picnic dinners and musical and dance performances, all capped off by 2 nights of fireworks. It's fantastic!
