Last night was DH's first time to see "Sweet Home Alabama". We thought it was hilarious because he is a CT yankee and I'm an Alabama girl....while my family does not act in Civil War re-enactments, we do enjoy watching them. My Grandpa does cook some crazy/disgusting things and had about 7 hunting dogs....the list goes on.

Anyway, the quote that had us rolling on the floor was Jake's...."Just because I talk slow doesn't mean I'm stupid" This one I really had to prove to his family when we first got married, that's why it was so funny to us.

And the dad's, something about killing Alabama's state bird....the mosquito......hilarious!

Not that this is my favorite movie quote, but this one's from "Happy Gilmore". When Adam Sandler sees a limo go by, he says "Wow, must be Burt Reynolds or something".

We went to Universal Studios for our February break, and got picked up last Saturday morning at PBH to head back to the airport. To our surprise, our towncar driver shows up in a limo. My DH and DSs kept making Burt Reyolds jokes like "Wow, people must think we're Burt Reynolds or something!" They thought they were so funny! I was so embarrassed. I doubt our driver recognized it as a "Happy Gilmore" reference, and probably thought we were so weird!!
