Whats your fave Disney souvenir?

I was wondering what is your favorite Disney souvenir? What did you bring home with you from the world that your really glad you did. A fave tshirt, snowglobe, ect... :earsgirl:

My wife is a hopeless pin addict and I am a snowglobe junkie. Is there hope for us?

The best souveneir I ever bought was mickey mouse ice cubes. They're in the shape of mickey mouse heads and you put them in the freezer and the insides of them freeze and you can re-use them over and over. They're great for traveling because they stay cold forever and don't dilute whatever you're drinking. They come in a plastic bag to keep them in and you get quite a few. And they're so cute! Best $8 I ever spent at WDW. :)

I couldn't find the monorail magnet in Aug. or April this year. I thought maybe they had been discontinued. Apparently, they just sell out really fast. Maybe I'll find one this Dec.

also couldn't find any of these over the last two weeks. looked in every monorail resort gift shop as well as the parks, and a few other resorts. not a one to be found. Even had CM's check in the back for me. (even checked on ebay just now and nope.)

would love to get my paws on one of those.

i have several fav souvies from over the years, but my latest from this trip.....a cool key chain that is a little mickey head viewmaster with 4 attached cartridges with a few WDW images on each. cute as heck!

When I started this thread I wasn't sure if I would get many responses. But, wow. You all love disney and your disney souvenirs. :earsboy: And I am getting some great tips on things to look for in the parks. Thanks to everyone who responded. :teeth:

I loved the gift shops & had a hard time deciding, so I made sure to get some things with 2005 to commemorate the year we went..

ON a side note, remember the Disney commercial a few years back, with the parents in an elevator, 2 kids, one in a stroller? The little boy says something like, "She's their souvenier from Disney" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I love that commercial!

Oh yes I remember that!! That was so cute. Just don't tell my DH. He has already said that would be the perfect souvenir. And then something about naming it Disney.......

but my very favorite of all is my fuzzy Mickey dice. They are black, and the dots are white Mickey heads. I got them in the store at AKL last December. They are hanging from the rear-view mirror in my car. When I'm commuting, and traffic is awful, I just look at them and think about the trips past and the trip to come. :lovestruc Makes a rotten commute seem much better.

See you all in the World - :earsgirl:

We're too cheap to buy much, but like to pick up a few things each trip.
One of the most memorable and cheapest souvenirs would have to be the WDW coloring books at $3.99. They had a general WDW one and one for each of the four parks. It's amazing how DD's coloring improved each year between the age of 2 and 10. She liked to color her favorite rides and characters and it gave her something to do back in the room. I put the date in the front and a few other fun facts about the trip. I love to look through them and reminisce. Other favorites are our name tags and clothes and jewelry bought from the outlet stores. The photo albums from each trip are by far, the best souvenirs we have.

I like the coloring book ideaa. Then dating them and keeping them. :)

One of my favorites is my watch. It has a black rubber strap with floating pewter squares with a swirly Mickey head done in primary color enamel. I also got the matching pen. You have to search hard to tell it is Mickey, so it is a treat!

My other favorite is my Mr. Potato Head. I teach 2nd grade and he happens to leave notes, potato shaped of course, to have students read to him. They love it, and it is darling to see them so enthusiastic to read. I will get extra arms on next trip, though! :teacher:

The classic black mickey ears with name in script embroidered in yellow thread.

The best souveneir is a 3D crystal protrait of my daughter made at mouse gear! Best $ I have ever spent at WDW

:earsboy:

I don't know if I have just one favorite souvenir, but I really like the Mickey pictures/posters I have bought over the years that decorate an entire wall in my house, as well as half of another wall.

My favorite is the brick I took out of the Main Street Firehouse.

:rotfl:

Just kidding. Actually, it's the german glass Cinderella Castle Christmas ornament we got from the Christmas shop in WDW Village. It's so big we have to make sure we buy a tree each year with at least one really hefty branch near the top for this ornament to hang on. It always amazes me that we were able to get it home in one piece, and have never had it fall off the tree.

I just loved this thread! :goodvibes So many of the things that have already been mentioned are ours as well: coffee mugs (starts the day off just right!), ornaments, CDs (teen DD says "geez mom, don't you ever listen to anything else" ........Is there anything else?? :teeth: ), scrapbooks done by teen DD who, despite above comment is a Disney nut as well :earsgirl: , pictures, frames, I could go on and on.

But my all time favorite is the pearl ring that I had made from a pearl that we "found" in the Japanese pavilion. DH bought the oyster that it came from as a surprise for me, we then watched them open the oyster and "discover" the pearl (lots of fun!!), and then I had the pearl in it made into a ring to celebrate our 15th anniversary. It's a wonderful souvenir, not only of Disney, but of DH being uncharacterstically romantic. :lovestruc

hi
as posted earlier they have been discontinued,. they were selling the remainder and then thats it i'm afraid

My favorite is my Minnie hat. I wear it my entire trip, I put it on as soon as we get in the car for our 18 hour drive, sometimes I wear it when I'm packing. It's very faded and the ears don't stay up anymore but I've had it so long I don't think I can get a new one without seperation anxiety.

We just got back 10/3 and my favorite souvenir from this visit is a sterling silver pendant/neckace that I got at Mousegear. It is a heart with a tiny hidden Mickey in crystals. You really can't tell it is a Mickey until you get up close. I love it!!!!! It is like having a little hidden Mickey with me all the time. Here is a picture of it:
