Whats your fave Disney souvenir?

Of the many things I've bought, my faves are the magnet I got in 1998, and my antenna toppers.

Also the Pooh luggage!

My hundreds of digital photos and I usually bring home at least one new visor each trip

Last time we were there, we got a glass ornament in the shape of a mickey head from epcot, and inside the head there is a 3d image of me and my DW made from tiny air bubbles in the glass.

its way cool :teeth:

besides the great photos and video i have taken over the years i have a few favorite souvieners. i really cant make up my mind is it the resort mugs, i use every day or all of my WDW t-shirts i always wear. in fact my mother remarked to me, "dont you have any t-sirts that dont have anthing to do with disney?" normally that isnt a weird question for a mother to ask her son but i am 50 years old :rotfl:

but my most significant souvenier has to be my Big Al bank that i purchased at MK many years ago on my very first WDW trip. the bank still sits on my desk next to my favorite famiy picture we took at WDW this past summe

I like to pick out one pin with some special meaning about a particular visit, such as a holiday, or the day it poured and we bought the Mickey in his poncho pins.

My favorite is the gold on gold mickey watch I bought on my Honeymoon. I was proud every year to say " Look I still have it ". Well this year I lost it on our summer holiday ( year 11 !) I haven't been there since BUT.... this is our 1st time going with our 2 children in December. I can't wait to pick out a new watch ! All of your ideas are getting me excited. I have all of my pennies shined and ready and I may buy a blanket at Mexican Pavillion for the New York portion of our big trip . It will come in handy on top of the double decker buses . :goodvibes Elisa

Where in Epcot did you purchase this?

sounds silly, but we love our plastic plates shaped like mickey's head. great for the kids

My favorite souvenir I got about 2 years ago. It was right outside of Cinderellla's castle. I bought a desk set that has Dumbo as my stapler, Peter Pan's flight as my tape dispenser, Buzz Lightyear as my business card holder, Splash Mountain as my notepad, The Tea cups as my paper clip holder and the Castle with the monorail running around it and Tink on top that when you wind it, it plays "when you wish upon a star" .

Everyday when I come in to work I feel better just looking at that and remembering our most recent trips. :flower:

I was wondering if it was possible to keep your room key at a Disney resort when it is time to leave. If it is possible:
Are all the keys the same?
Do different resort have different images on the keys?
I was thinking about maybe going to a different resort every year and collecting them :teeth:

My mom got the most beautiful minnie mouse watch at the Uptown Jewelers on Main Street. It is a bracelet style watch and has both gold and silver tones so can be worn with all types of jewelery. It was a bulova watch. They have some really nice watches in there... Good luck finding a special replacement

No, I'm pretty sure they're the same. My Grand Floridian key just has a picture of the castle on it.

Thank you for that ! I'm looking forward to seeing all the new styles they have out. Your mom's sounds really nice . I'll keep my eye out for it . :sunny:

My DW and I always buy a candle as a souviner for trips we take (you know the kind that say the anme of the city/area you are visiting). We already have two disney candels from previous trips (one has a picture of all 4 theme parks, the other is bridal mickey and minnie that we got right before we got married). But when we went last month we couldn't find any candels (or at least only very few). We shopped in all the parks and in DTD. DOes anybody know what happend to all the candels??

The Christopher Radko Cinderella's Castle Christmas ornament DH bought me on our first trip to WDW back in 2000. I only see it at Christmas, but I LOVE it!! Maybe some day I'll have a curio or something and I can put it out on a stand all year. I kinda like that idea.

Several years ago we purchased a piece of art from a shop in Downtown Disney. It's a Jiminy Cricket model sheet. We proudly display it in the entry foyer of our home. Everyone who enters our home knows how we feel about WDW-especially JC!

That's *exactly* how I have mine displayed. On the top shelf of a curio cabinet on an ornament hanger. I love seeing my castle every day! :goodvibes

You can keep the keys. However, in a given year, I believe all the resorts have the same design but the design is usually different from one year to the next if thats any concellation.

I think you can't go wrong w/ the refillable mugs. My husband and I use ours everyday for our coffee while traveling to work. What other souvenir for $11.00( that's what we paid for ours a year ago) can you say you use everyday? :wizard:
