We just returned from a great trip to WDW (11/12 - 19). We used the Dining Plan and somehow managed to end up with 1 counter service meal left over. The best we can figure is someone forgot to charge us for one of those meals.

We noticed a sad trend on most of our TS meals: the entree was delivered before the first bite of our appetizer was swallowed. Sometimes our appetizer plates were literally shoved aside to try to make room for the four entrees (me, DW, and 2 DDs). Our first meal was Sunday at 50's PTC. I thought maybe it was because it was Super Soap Weekend and everything's rushed and tried to go with the flow. But it happened repeatedly. The only exceptions were at Epcot: Restaurant Marrakesh and Le Cellier.

After the 2nd time, I kept my eyes open and mouth empty -- in order to tell the "delivery person" (it was never our server) to take the entrees back to the kitchen and return them after we finished our appetizers. I hate watching the entree grow cold on the table or wolf down an appetizer.

I don't understand what the hurry is to deliver the entree. :confused3 Any ideas?

The hurry is they are trying to turn those tables over so someone else can sit there. I hate when this happens. I agree with you, there does seem to be a trend out there at a lot of places (not only at WDW) to rush you through dinner.
