Hi Everyone '
I'm new here and found you guys looking for some rate relief at the HRH.We are going for six days in the first week of July.I've checked the Loews site, orangevacations.com,
univacations ,et al., called 1-888-uescape, Loews, HRH ...
.I ran Loews First,FanClub ,AAA,Enterntainment,APH codes
by them and got nada, zip,no break at all on the rate.Does anyone know whats going on ??????? Any suggestions?
We were looking at club level and did get a quote for $307.00
at the PBH(not sure which code,I gave em all of them ;) but have 2 teens threatening rebellion.Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks :confused3

They usually release FLO and APH rates about a month or so ahead of time.

Hi,
I've been trying to book at HRH and I currently have a room booked which I can cancel or change if need be 48 prior. Anyway, each day the rates change on the Loews website - sometimes a deal is there and the next day it isn't. When I booked there was no family deal/poolview deal, as there had been the day prior. I booked a garden view room and the next day on the Loews site the AAA rate with poolview was available. (I decided to keep my garden view at $237 per night with AAA rate) Yesterday I noticed the poolview was again available and today it isn't.
Good luck, from what I read we're going to love it!!! :cool1:

Thanks Shoots,
I noticed after UESCAPE told me no APH were available I went through the fanclub site punched APH in and lo and behold up popped $359 but without taxes and tixfor club.Seems the HRH is the place to be.PBH has much better deals but its not the same.If you like AC/DC in the elevator at 6:00 A.M. you'll love it.Kinda got me going on my way to coffee every morning :)

Your dates are also over the 4th of July holiday. That would add to even more crowds and less discounts.

same here! we are going 4th of july week and i have a reservation for rack rates. i was hoping for something better. i also considered getting an annual pass for the discount but i would still have to buy a park ticket for my nephew and right now at the rack rate we are both getting free park tickets. right now i would settle for it coming down from $264 to $234!

I kept checking online and found APH rates for June 24-30 (we ended up changing our dates because there were no rooms for the week before). I saw an APH rate of $255.60 for pool view - we need 3 rooms. Called my SIL to make sure the dates were ok, went to check online again - GONE! This was within, say, 15 minutes! So I called 1 800 BE A STAR, and spoke with 'Anna', she kept asking if I qualified for ANY discounts, etc. I said APH and there it was, so I booked it. I still keep checking for anything lower though. But, thankfully we were able to grab that rate!

The days of the $99 entertainment are a thing of the past from another life time. You can already tell your kids you remember it. Once upon a time...

The secret is out, businesses book the HRH to impress clients, filling it to capacity. It's also the "hip" hotel that rock/movie stars check into. Last year there were reports of people getting bumped from their rooms at the last minute. This is obviously caused by A-listers who show up at the last minute. The HRH has solved this problem by raising rates above what normal tourists will pay. Plus it's the closest hotel to the parks, so it's the most popular.

You'll have to try the PBH, RPR, or go at a different time, like the end of August or September. Most had good luck with the AAA rate.

I don't know what the reason was for us getting "bumped" on our last visit, but our bump was a nice one....from pool view to club level.
