what's the worst thing you've eaten at wdw?

The Hot Dogs at Casey's Corner on Main St. Magic Kingdom. They have got to be the worse dog I've ever bitten.

Honestly that doesn't surprise me. If I remember right, isn't Stouffers a sponsor?

Yes it is. It used to sponsor more than just the mac n cheese. That's why I've never eaten there. I have an issue with eating at a restaurant that is serving frozen entrees that I can buy at the grocery store. There are plenty of other restaurants at WDW that don't do that and have amazing food.

Citrus swirl, ever since they stopped using real orange juice.

Shortly before Spoodles closed, we had one of our worst meals ever there. The chicken was not only bland, but it had a mechanical taste (it really tasted like metal or machine parts). Two people in my party ordered it (including myself), and neither one could eat it. We had always loved ordering a bunch of appetizers there as our meal, but our last meal at Spoodles was a disaster.

Grilled Cheese at AS Movies. It was greesy and had a weird sour sort of taste. Yuck!

Hmmm... anything at CRT. We not only could not eat it but it caused some rather ugly digestive distress. Same trip we had Coral Reef for the first time.. food was barely edible and also caused distress. We have vowed to never eat at either again.

Not me, but DH got a steak at Pepper Market and got food poisoning from it! :sad2: He saw it just sitting out when he ordered it, but thought it would be fine once it was cooked. He passed out that night and hit his head on the toilet! :headache: We still talk about that steak!

KFC is 100% better. The mac-n-cheese at BOMA was delicious......it must be the same at JIKO.
Honestly, please do not order the macaroni from Liberty Tree....you will only be wasting your money. I would hate to see a fellow DISer go hungry for the rest of the day. It was absolutely unedible. I can't say that about much.....

See, another reason to not take everyone's opinion on these threads to heart--I feel exactly the opposite--can't stand KFC's mac and cheese, but do like LTT's (or Stouffers, as a pp pointed out)--KFC's has too much of a chemical taste to it and anything that is as bright orange as their's is, must have too much food coloring in it! YUCK!
Also--I've had Jiko's mac and cheese as well and would rate Stouffer's ahead of that (yes, I know--crazy!)--although the Jiko filet was one of the best I've ever had in my life!

Not so much eaten, the worst thing I've drank!

THE COFFEE

Coming from a coffee lover, the most wretched tasting (dish water) going!

Chef Mickey's - DINNER

We have not had breakfast or lunch there, so I can only account for the dinner. It was AWEFUL! My DH is not by any means a picky eater, but he absolutely will never go there again. He will not even try breakfast!

The yucky, molded "chocolate volcano" dessert at the Spirit of Aloha! It mustn't be that bad, cause I always find someone in my party who's willing to polish it off!:confused3

Ooh thought of one more. The sugar free fruit and yogurt parfait at Pizzafari. Soggy granola and warm yogurt. Yuck, although I did like this same dish at Backlot Express.

The absolute worst food I had was at the Liberty Inn at Epcot. I don't know if the burger just tasted bad, or if it was the unrecognizable grey piece of (worm, maybe?-you know how your mind starts imagining the worst!) inside my meat that did it. I have to stop now, I'm going to gag again just thinking about it......

Most overrated: grapefruit cake at Brown Derby. Altho the rest of my meal was phenomenal and it's worth a trip there!!

Worst tasting food I've ever eaten: vegetable torte at Norway/Epcot. Hub and each got one bc they looked good and were recommended by many on the DIS boards. Maybe I was there on a bad baking day, but it was nearly tasteless and disgustingly dense. We both threw ours away! Uck!!

I'm having a hard time remembering which restaurant it was in, or even the exact item, but there was a desert last summer, had fruit of some type in it, and the fruit had started to go bad, had the partially fermented / bitter / alcohol taste to it. I'm thinking it was at the Rose and Crown, but I'm not 100% certain.

Pretty much everything we ate at the Electric Umbrella was horrible as well, though not quite as bad as the fermenting fruit desert.

Oh, I SO agree! I don't understand why they don't change their coffee when so many people complain. There are many good brands out there to choose from.
