what's the worst thing you've eaten at wdw?

The coffee rubbed steak at Le Cellier was the worst entree I've ever had.

The couscous salad at Tangerine Cafe

ANYTHING from Cantina de San Angel :scared:

And I also disliked Biergarten immensly, although everyone else in my party seemed to enjoy it.

CS Hamburger patties. Makes Rally's Hamburgers look good. A five star fixin's bar can't fix lousy meat.

The Teriyaki strip steak at Kona last week! DD and DH also had them and theirs were cooked to perfection, however I like my steak well done and this steak was cremated!!! I couldn't eat it and this was the chef's second attempt at cooking it!! :confused3

If eyerybody else's was cooked fine, and you sent it back and asked for it more well done, and it came out too well done for you, sounds like the problem wasn't with the steak or the chef.

I find it interesting that for a restaurant with such rave reviews, Le Cellier has many things that are on the "worst food eaten" list too.

I guess that place is all about ordering the right things...

I LOVE the food at WDW, but I have to admit the last time I ate at Coral Reef I had gotten a Mixed Green Salad to go with my meal and I really didn't care for that. I think it must have been the dressing. :(

The worst thing I ever attempted to eat at WDW was on our last trip in Sept. was the broccoli at Chef Mickey's. Oh my, it tasted as if it was spoiled, it was horrendous! I get sick just thinking about it. It looked nice and green, but uggh, was it awful. I found that whole meal that night to be rather unpleasant, but the worst was the broccoli!

We got a horrible flatbread at California Grill once. It was as if the chef had butchered a chicken and accidentally used the disgusting grissle and fat pile instead of the good chicken pieces. That whole meal was bad, actually. Three great meals one there and one bad there. I think that's maybe above average for some disney spots.

Did you know that Disney will only cook CS hamburgers well done? IMO that is why they are so bad

That's actually a rule at MANY places. Because of e.coli.

The only places that will cook a hamburger "to order" do so at YOUR OWN RISK. It's written on the menus. And, they USUALLY grind their meat fresh onsite, which cuts down on the e.coli risk.

Our worst meal by far was our dinner at Tutto..... the food really resembled cafeteria food. For the life of me I don't understand what people see in this place. To each his own, I guess!

What did you eat there? We ate there last year and the food was FAR from cafeteria food. It was excellent, to be honest. We all loved it, and we had a "real live I-talian" in our party. ;)

EVERYTHING we ordered at mama Melrose (aside from the tomato and mozerella) and All Star Movies pizza.

We were at Tutto February of this year, and we were looking forward to it!! Both entrees that we tried were bland, the pasta was WAY overcooked, and no kidding, we got our food less than 4 minutes after we ordered it. It was obviously precooked and reheated. Please don't think that we are picky eaters; we enjoy Victoria & Alberts, but we also like plain, simple food as well. Olive Garden, while not terrific, has served much better food than we got that night, and at much lower prices.

Having been born and raised less than 30 miles from WDW and having gone to the parks a gazillion times since 1973 and having been a CM on and off during every decade since the 1980's, you can't help but to have had some dreadful fare.

Anything that would be fast food (or Pizza) in the real world is probably best avoided in the magical worlds. Nothing truly specific comes to mind, maybe the "pizza" at tommorowland space place but there are so many "resturants" to avoid in the MK.

Apart from actually enjoying what I do at WDW and naturally the free admission one of the reasons to be a CM (or the annual pass) is to be able to dine at Disney, specifically Epcot, pretty much whenever you want.

Nine Dragons: Everything we tried!!!!!

Shutters: We didn't like anything we ate.

The Orange Chicken at Lotus Blossom Cafe in Epcot. I love to eat and this was the only meal that I didn't even finish!

I'm gonna have to say the Dole Whip. People on here made it sound like heaven in a cup. Well, that little peace of "heaven" went in the trash. Any counter service meal (especially the hamburgers). There was a brownie at a counter service place next to Small World. I'm not sure who decided that was a good idea. :scared1:

I've read enough to know not to eat pizza in the World.
