what's the worst thing you've eaten at wdw?

Of all things, the mashed potatoes. At both 50's prime time and LTT, they were disgusting. There was a chemical aftertaste. Who would have thought these could be messed up?

Dole whips-yuck

Another vote for the Liberty Inn burger. Truly embarrassed that they serve this in America.

The Prime Rib at GF Cafe'. And it was recommended by our server. Yuck!!!!!!:snooty:

My husband and I were in Disney World in October 2009, and we could tell that Disney had changed vendors. While not the most healthy choice, my DH has always enjoyed a great burger at Pecos Bill Cafe, and this time it was absolutely horrid. Tasteless mounds of an indescribable food mixture. What a disappointment. Even the onions on the fixins bar were tasteless.

I have to second you on le cellier we were not that impressed at all. I was really disappointed as we had managed to get one of the rare ADRS for this place. Wish we had booked else where.

I never understand why everyone kills themselves trying to get into Le Cellier when Yachtsman Steakhouse is just outside the International Gateway and is so much better - and much easier to get an ADR for!

9pm dinner @ Chef Mickey's and Tony's Town Square was IMO was not very good either, but not the worse.

the worst think I ever ate at Disney was the cobb salad at the Brown Derby........it tasted like I was eating already chewed up food! I LOVE salads, and can eat them for every meal, every day, but the texture of this one just did me in!

Not sure I should have read this thread, it makes me question my ADR's all over again.

However I will join in...

Sci-Fi Dine-Inn - The burger I had was absoultey horrible, tasted like a frozen meat like substance. The Reuben Sandwich hubby had was covered in oil and all the meat was wet because of it. We swapped plates and tried eachothers but agreed that they were inedible. The dessert was all that saved it. Ended up cancelling our other ADR here and will never go back

Sunshine Seasons - Both sandwiches we ordered were horrible, wet meat and soggy bread. I swear it was like someone dumped our sandwich into some stock that was off. Foul tasting, definitely never going back.

Turkey legs, have to mention it, I just don't get it. I bit into it and all I tasted was fat and gristle. Had a couple more bites but it tasted worse. It didn't help it was daylight as I could see the stringy bits :eek:not for me I guess!

Other than that we have actually been pretty lucky when it comes to food at WDW. We have had really good food most of the time.

OK OK Everyone can bash me now, but I think that the Dole Whips were absolutely disgusting. I Threw mine out!!!!!!

Finally somebody agrees with me about Dole Whips

Bought a churro at a stand in Fantasyland because I've heard so many people say how good they are. This thing was as hard as a rock and was just gross. My son took one bite and threw it away, and he eats absolutely everything!

Pizza at Pizza Planet-horrible doughy mess.
and
Pecos Bills rubbery hamburgers with the totally messy, disgusting, food everywhere, food on floor, kids using hands instead of the utensils provided "fixins bar"

I'm with you on this! Tried one once...:crazy2:

Last trip I ordered the Chicken Caesar salad at Pecos Bills. It was disgusting. The chicken was bland white strips of ice cold, rubber. I don't think they were even fully defrosted. :crazy2:

At Mara we bought a box of Zebra Domes. My daughter took a bite out of one and there was a hair in it. The rest of the box went in the trash. Also didn't care for the Chicken Flatbread at Mara. Not that it was bad, just not my taste (it was VERY spicy). Didn't really care for any of the food at Mara.

Dinner at 1900 Park Fare

I felt like I was eating at one of those all you can eat buffets at home that is just nasty. If it wasn't for Cinderella's step sisters, I would have nothing nice to say about it!

At the food court at Port Orleans french quarters I ordered a taco salad.
The bowl was made of a taco, and they put in the nicest fresh lettuce, corn and other nice vegetables. And then they asked if i wanted some meat over my nice veggies. And I thought they meant some roasted lean meat.
But nooooooo, they got a huge ladle and then scooped up a really big scoop full of minced meast soaked in grease and put that over my delicious looking salad.
And all of it was soaked with grease. I couldnt eat it. I tried one bite and it made me sick. I threw it away without eating it. It was absolutely disgusting.
