what's the worst thing you've eaten at wdw?

Chef Mickey. I'm the least picky eater I know and I wouldn't do an ADR there again in awhile. Maybe 10 years or so.

I hated the food at the Brown derby! Maybe we have no "class" or something, but none of us liked it and it was not worth two table serves at all!

A long time ago (back when Cinderella Castle was a Birthday Cake) we went to the Brown Derby for the famous Cobb Salad. We left the restaurant calling it the "Slop" salad. All of the ingredients were minced so small that we really couldn't tell what we were eating. Just the texture alone of the salad was terrible, as if it were pre-chewed (sorry for the gross image).

We've never been back to the restaurant, so perhaps it's better now?

I had the ribs at Sci-Fi in DHS. They were the worst I ever had. On the other hand, the ribs at Cosmic Rays were great!

Finally somebody agrees with me about Dole Whips

Another here. Just didn't get the hype

Sci-Fi Dine-Inn - The burger I had was absoultey horrible, tasted like a frozen meat like substance. The Reuben Sandwich hubby had was covered in oil and all the meat was wet because of it. We swapped plates and tried eachothers but agreed that they were inedible. The dessert was all that saved it.

My dessert at Sci Fi was putrid. The chocolate peanut butter cake? The cake part was so overcooked we couldnt' even cut it open to get to the 1/2 ounce of peanut butter in the middle. I used a knife and it was so hard that when it did cut, half of it shot across the table and landed on my daughter

I love R&C and I love different types of cheese so we ordered the fruit and cheese plate for an appetizer for our CP dinner pkg one night. My dsis bit into one of the cheeses and said "Oh- I don't really like that cheese!" Now she's a little pickier than me about cheese but when I tasted it, I felt like I would lose my lunch right then and there. I don't normally have a reaction like that so I was surprised. Never did find out what the cheese was but I'll probably refrain from ordrering that appy again just to avoid mistakingly tasting that again

We're not big fans of the Dinner buffet at Cape May - been twice and both times really didn't like the taste of the food. I don't think we'll be trying it for a 3rd time.

Several of our friends say Cape May is their favorite/ can't miss restaurant, but when we tried it a few years ago we were very disappointed. It wasn't really bad like we couldn't eat it, but out of our week on the dining plan it was the least liked TS meal. We will probably never go back unless friends dragged us there.

Ok, let me correct that- for my DW and I we didn't care for Chef Mickey's any more than Cape May, but our kids liked it more because of the characters and the "kid-friendly" food. We have an ADR for dinner at Chef Mickeys for their this September, but my wife and I are not looking forward to it at all.

With the exception of the build-your-own pasta, pretty much every single thing at the POR food court.

After reading many wonderful reviews of tea at the GF we decided to go. Unfortunately it was the worst meal we've ever eaten at Disney. Some of the food was ok but the service was really bad. Everything was thrown at us at once and we were out of there in less than 25 minutes. The couple next to us went to tea in thier home town and urged us to try it somewhere else as it is supposed to be a relaxing experience. It is one place we won't be gonig back to anytime soon.

I was not a dole whip fan. It was waaaaayyyy too sweet for my tastes.
And every time I recall our last night in MK, I recall the queasy feeling I had all night from the burger I had at Pecos Bills. I don't know if it was a bad night or what but it really did not sit well:sick:

the "scrambled eggs" at 1900 Park Fare breakfast... hands down the worst thing served at WDW. If the government came in and regulated, legally you would not be able to call them "eggs".

Honestly for us...anything at DHS except Starring Rolls. We always plan our day to leave the park and eat at Epcot.

Well, I'd have to disagree. 4 of us got the Crabcakes at the Captain's Grille and we had to send them all back.

We never send food back...

the entire meal was AWFUL. The salmon was so dry and overcooked I considered taking it home as a souvenir and using it as a doorstop.

While I absolutely loved the Lobster roll and french fries at Captains Grille, the dessert which I referenced earlier must be put out of its misery. It's bitter fruit jelly in a shot glass, which appears as though you are eating blood.

Anything from the Electric Umbrella. DH and I had different sandwiches and threw both of them out. Totally disgusting :scared1:

:scared1: By the Gods, that sounds AWFUL!!! I think I'm glad my appetite was ruined before they brought out the dessert menu! ;)

The tomato/mozzarella salad at Narcoosee. I don't know what that huge pile of fluffy, foamy, lime green stuff piled on top was, but it was nasty. It was like whipped whipping cream tinted lime green, with something bitter and spoilt in it. I sent the whole plate back almost untouched. I've never met a tomato/mozzarella salad I didn't love, until this one. Yuck!

Worst thing by far: CRT Breakfast! And I'm not even considering the cost to value ratio here, just going straight off of food quality. Our group had 2 french toasts and the omlet. The french toast was so greesy it was inedible. The omlet was dry and the sides were not tasty either. The fruit bowl and the breads were definately the best part of the meal! Overall we had a good experience though (getting into the park early, seeing main street empty, meeting the princesses, seeing all of the little girls get excited, being in the castle, getting our picture with Cinderella, ect...) but I would not do it again until we have children along that would enjoy the atmosphere.
