I haven't paid attention to the entire Drops of Jupiter song, but I wouldn't categorize it with these stupid songs. Drops is poetic... meaning to be determined by the listener. The truly stupid songs IMO are the ones that are straightforward, no metaphor, no symbolism, no question what they're talking about, and it's about something completely lame.

in their concert, they actually perform that! then they have all the girls go, "meow, meow meow meow" i have had the unfortunate luck to see them several times opening for various groups, but that is always entertaining.

stupidest song imo. "email my heart" by britney spears. the lyrics are AWFUL.

YMCA makes me cringe! So do a lot of other Disco songs, such as:

For everyone who mentioned MacArthur Park - I'm with you on that one. If there's anything poetic about that one, I think the writer (and Donna Summer) are the only ones that were able to interpret it.
