What's the closest Amusement Park to you?

Geauga Lake--- formerly Six Flags Worlds of Adventure (which was formerly Geauga Lake).:D

Worlds Of Fun. Haven't visited it. Probably never will. When you've seen one Six Flags, you've seen them all IMO.

That's a toss up between Six Flags Great Adventure (haven't been in, oh, 8 yrs?), Hershey Park (same), or Dorney Park (a LONG time ago).

We are about 40 min. away from Geauga Lake and about 1 1/4 hrs or so away from Cedar Pt.

I live about 45 minutes from Six Flags America in Largo, Maryland; but I never go there. Its just a sad reminder to me how far I live from Orlando.

Our park of choice to drive to is Busch Gardens in Williamsburg. Its a little less than a 3 hour drive, and a wonderful and clean park to visit. Next to Disney and Universal, its our favorite. :)

About 40 minutes from Six Flags Darien Lake, however haven't been in 9 yrs, which it wasn't a Six Flags then. Also Cedar Point is about 2.5-3.0 hrs away.

Six Flags NE is about 2 1/2 hours southwest, Canobie Lake park is about 1 hour south, and StoryLand is about two hours north. Never been to SF, but thinking about it for a day trip with the kids this summer (but then again, maybe we will just save the $100 it will cost for the day and put it in the WDW account!:p )........P

I live within 5-10 minutes of the Disney Parks, Universal Parks, Wet N' Wild....and I live across the street from Sea World :)

Well, if you don't count Boomers, which I don't then the closest theme parks to me are all in Orlando and WDW is actually the closest one. Four hours max driving time unless dh is doing the driving then more.

Six Flags America is about 45 min. away. It's ok for a quick themepark fix.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is about 4 hrs away. I really enjoy it there. It's not WDW but it is closer :)

Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio and Paramount Canada's Wonderland, Toronto, Ontario are about the same distance away from where I live.

It takes about 3 hours to drive to either one.

Geauga Lake is less that 20 minutes away. Cedar Point is 90 minutes away. Lots of roller coasters nearby. We haven't been to Geauga Lake since it became a Six Flags park. Now that Six Flags has sold the park to Cedar Fair and the name has been changed back to Geauga Lake, we might try to get over there to see what's changed in the past 10 or so years.

I'm about 1 hour, 30 minutes from Dorney Park or Knoebel's, 2 hours from Hershey. I try to get to each one every year. I love amusement parks.:sunny:

I'm about an hour away from Knoebel's, Dorney and Hershey.

I'm about 15 minutes from King's Dominion & about 45 from Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

Much prefer BG to KD! BG has such nice themeing, landscaping, is clean & has some great rides. KD is just pavement, pavement everywhere & has gone way downhill. As a teen, I was there every week, but now I prefer to make the drive to BG.

Kings Island in Ohio. It's about two hours away from where I live in Indiana.

Busch Gardens in Tampa is about 30 - 45 minutes away, unfortunately, I don't really care for rollercoasters so I don't go there. I'll spend the extra 45 minutes and go to the World.

35 minutes away from Worlds of Fun in KC, MO. Haven't been yet though.
:)

Well, don't go there after WDW or you will be very disappointed! I am twenty minutes from there! I went to Ceder Point in Sandusky for my entire childhood and this was a letdown in comparison to that!

Any Detroiters remember Bob- Lo Island? That was my favorite. The boatride there was fun to me alone!
