What's the closest Amusement Park to you?

Kennywood is about an hour away- never been there

Geauga Lake and Idlewild are about 90 min. from my house- go to each once or twice a year

We've been to Disney more than any of them

We're a couple of hours away from Seabreeze in Rochester, NY and Six Flags Darien Lake.

Six Flags has some great coasters, including Superman while Seabreeze is a nice little park with a wonderful water park included.

We're also a couple of hours away from Enchanted Forest/Water Safari in Old Forge. GREAT water park!

Paramount's Carowinds is about 2 miles away. We get season passes and usually go for a few hours on the weekend or DH will take DD for a few hours after work.

I am about 4 hours from Six Flags Great America.

Then, we also have Bay Beach Amusement Park (about 10 minutes from my house, if that). It is an amusement park that was built on city land in the 1930's. There an now about 20 or so rides there, including a merry go round, Tilt a Whirl, swings, bumpercars, and one of those giant slides that you ride down on burlap sacks. You purchase tickets for the rides. For years and years and years, the rides were one ticket. Each ticket cost 10 cents!!. Then some of the rides went up to two and three tickets. Finally about 3 years ago or so, they had to raise the price of the tickets to a quarter a piece. We are out at Bay Beach about a dozen times, if not more, a year. My kids love it, and I still love it!! I actually worked there in the summer for 4 years and had a blast! If anyone is up near Green Bay, I would recommend it for something totally different!!

Valley Fair is about 5 miles from our house. Both our kids worked there when they were in high school. We hardly ever go there anymore. We are also only about 10 miles from The Mall of America and Camp Snoopy there.

We are about 10-15 minutes from Kennywood, and about 45 minutes to Idlewild Park . TOO DARN FAR AWAY FROM WDW to make me happy...( 17 hours drive time or 2hour 20 min flight)
