What's the closest Amusement Park to you?

We're 30 minutes from Dorney Park and about an hour from Hershey Park.

We're an hour north east of the ever pathetic Enchanted Village and Wild Waves. There's also the Fun Forest at the Seattle Center, but I don't know anyone that actually goes there to ride the rides!

DH and I are wanting to try out Silverwood in Idaho.

About 45min to 1hr from Six Flags Over Texas (depending on the traffic).

Michigan's Adventure and Cedar Point are about equally close to us.

We usually make the 5-6 hour trek out to Cedar Point every so many years too, another great park!

Worlds of Fun in Kansas City. I went there dozens of times in my youth, and my wife takes our kids up there several times each summer.

I hadn't been there for ten years until last summer, when my sister & BIL came to town and we decided to take all the kids. I decided to ride my old favorite coaster, the Orient Express, and it was still as good as I remembered. (The other rides, not so much. The Viking Voyage log flume ride is very, very lame.) It's a good thing I rode the Orient Express one last time, because they tore it down last winter after 25 years!

Worlds of Fun was built by Lamar Hunt in the 70s, with a ton of internationally-flavored theming. He sold it to Cedar Fair about ten years ago. Still a nice park, although the theming isn't as rigorous as it used to be. (Why is there a 50s diner next to the Mamba coaster in the "Africa" section of the park???)

I live 10 minutes from Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington. I have not been there in at least 8 years.

About 5 minutes from Sesame Place (not really an amusement park but still) and 35 min from Great Adventure in NJ. In fact, was there today, just doing the Safari.

I'm about 1/2 hr - 45 mins from Six Flags Great Adventure.

magic springs, cxrystal falls is about three hours north of us,, liberty land is 4 but they are trying to get zoning and permoits for a new one in monroe la whioch would be 1 hour away:)

35 minutes away from Worlds of Fun in KC, MO. Haven't been yet though.
:)

I live about 45 minutes away from Six Flags over Georgia. I haven't been in years, and I don't really like it since I don't ride thrill rides.

About 2 1/2 hours from Six Flags New England and Canobe lake about 2 hours away. Several water parks within 30 minutes to an hour away.

I live 15 minutes from a small local park called Adventureland, and an hour from Long Island's own water park, Splish Splash. I suppose I'm close to Coney Island and Rye Playland, but I've never been to either...at least, not that I can remember. usually if we want to go to a major park we head south to Six falgs great Adventure (about a 2-3 hour drive) or west to Dorney Park in Pennsylvania (more or less the same distance.) if it's going to be an overnight trip -- we drive four hours to Hershey.

I live 10 minutes from Lake Winnie but it's just a small Amusement parks. To go a real amusement I can either go to Dollywood or Six Flags over Geogia and White Water 2 hours away

I will get a season pass to Six Flags over Georgia.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is about 20 minutes away. After WDW it's my favorite. Haven't tried Kings Dominion yet but that's about an hour away. Anyone been there? Can you give me a review?

15 minutes from Carowinds. It is built on the SC/NC border between Rock Hill, SC and Charlotte, NC. New roller coaster The Borg....you lay down on this one and it flips you around. Nice park, full day of activities with a water park included in admission!

Two hours away from Wild Adventures in Valdosta.
