What's the best view you've ever had at WDW and where were you staying?

The last two years I've had a beautiful view of the TOT at MGM and the pool area at the Dolphin. :D

That would have to be Magic Kingdom view in the Contemporary tower. Very very magical!!!

AKL, savannah view was awesome. We saw real close up views of the animals at sunrise, and it was just amazing.

We were staying at the Poly...we'd been upgraded to lagoon view and had a ground floor room. Woke up on the first day and opened those curtains.....wow! A view over to Cinderella's castle!

And double wow that night...as we watched the fireworks exploding over the castle, as we sat on the beach right outside our room!

Awesome!

The best view we've ever had was at the Dolphin, epcot view!

The view during the evening hours with the Epcot ball all a glitter took my breath away!

Really, ANY view of ANY part of WDW is a good one to me! :)

But if I have to pick just one, I guess I would say ... I've had a few of the honeymoon rooms at the Grand, Main Bldg., and have always gotten an amazing view of the Castle with those rooms...

On my honeymoon I had a great view of Cindy's castle from our room in Sago Cay at the GF. We were there over 4th of July 2000 and had a front row seat for the fireworks. Incredible!!!!!!!!

Well, as much as I loved all my rooms at the GF, I'd have to say that my *favorite* view was from our 12th floor room at the Contemporary tower. It was awesome to be able to look "down" at the MK!

Toss up between GF, Conch Cay Castle view, AKL Arushka Rock/Savannah view, Poly Hawaii Building Castle view.

I had a nice view of Epcot from the YC, but it was partially obstructed.

I'm looking forward to hopefully an Epcot view at BCV in January.

Room 3011 at the Boardwalk Villas on NYE 2000. While we dealt with the crowds in EPCOT, my folks stayed behind. They not only got the fireworks display from EPCOT, but had their own private fireworks on the lagoon.

Contemporary Resort, Magic Kingdom view is the BEST view possible at Disney World.:D

My most magical view is, without a doubt, from the Contemporary Tower, Magic Kingdom view.:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
My friend Kim and I went to the 1st Disneyana Convention in 1992 and were lucky enough to get a room on that side of the Contemporary. At night, the "push-up pop" trees are lit with white lights, and the Magic Kingdom is laid before you like a diamond necklace:smooth:
In the early morning, you can hear the "toot-toot" of the riverboat, and better yet, the howling from the Haunted Mansion. Talk about being inside the magic!!:earseek:
Also, in the early morning one can see the beauty of the land in front of you: Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Seven Seas Lagoon sparkling in the early morning sun. We even saw a few hot air balloons rising up to meet the day. :sunny:
I have stayed in wonderful rooms with great views (BWV-Epcot view; YC-Epcot, Boardwalk view; Poly-Castle view) but that lackluster hotel Contemporary simply has the BEST location for feeling like you are "living" inside the park.:earsgirl:
All the best, Wilma

Mine has to be the studio we had at Boardwalk Villas. It was on an upper floor (5th?) in the "Crest of the Wave" section overlooking the Boardwalk & Epcot. It was great eating breakfast every morning on the balcony or in our room with the curtains open while admiring the big silver ball & the tops of several pavillions in WS. We people watched & viewed Illuminations from the balcony several times, as well. We had great views at the Swan & Dolphin, too, but that studio was the best!

Best view was a Zebra Trail room at AKL concierge... it was beautiful...w e actually stayed home one day from the parks just to relax and watch the animals.

We had a "garden view" room at the Polynesian. Usually I dont care about views but since we were spending our 1 day there and not at the parks, I was really hoping to not have a parking lot view. I got my wish! We were directly in front of the volcano pool, could see the Grand Floridian and the lagoon. If we streched over the balcony we could see the castle. It was beautiful!

I've had two great views: Castle view from the Poly and a view of Epcot, YC/BC and Boardwalk from the Dolphin. I had a balcony both times, and my favorite thing was sitting out on the balcony watching the fireworks and staring at the various sites and listening to the sounds of the areas.

Castle view from the Poly.....when we walked in the room, my family just sighed. Loved it!
