What's the best view you've ever had at WDW and where were you staying?

I'd have to say my best view was actually at the MOWC:p

From my balcony, I had a panoramic view of my entire kingdom, including all the fireworks;)

Not bad for $60/night.:smooth:

In late august 1992, my family and I stayed at the CONTEMPORARY , 7TH FLOOR MAGIC KINGDOM SIDE. We could see the fireworks and the electrical water pageant every evening from our balcony and my youngest loved the idea that he could go to the big arcade down stairs everyday. In the beginning of our vacation everything was great . But, unfortunetly mother nature was about to unlease her fury upon all of south Florida, this was the time when Hurricane Andrew hit.

View across Crescent Lake to the Boardwalk from YC. Not only did we get great sunsets over the Boardwalk, we also were able to see the aerial fireworks from Epcot on a nightly basis.

The Magic Kingdom view from tower room at the Contemporary! We loved not having to stay late in the parks (small children) and being able to sit out and relax on the balcony as we watched the fireworks. The view on a clear night is spectacular.

We are staying at The Poly in December and I am hoping to add another favorite view;)

A view of the parking lot would be wonderful to me. I think everything is "magical" when your in WDW. But I guess if I have to pick a "beautiful" view it would defiantly be the view we had at OKW on our honeymoon. It was our first time coming "home". We had a one bedroom suite. Our balcony over looked a quite pond were we feed the ducks ever morning and evening. We also could see "Miss Tilley" going off during the day as well as the lights from PI at night.

MOWC - it's gotta be the Marriott Orlando World Center. It's really just a few hundred yards away from Downtown Disney. I've stayed there too and it was a great view of WDW, but...

still nothing will beat the Epcot view I had from the Dolphin's East wing in July. It just adds something intangible when you're actually in the magic.

So far, my best view was at the Wilderness Lodge of the Magic Kingdom and I was able to see Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks from my balcony -- I was soooooo happy!!! 2nd was at the Polynesian which was only a Garden view but the landscaping was beautiful and I had the monorail go right outside my window!! :D

Ya gotta like this thread.... A bunch off different views and everyone of them is great :):)

Thanks, Nat. I was just uploading a "daybed" photo for another Dis user into my on-line photo albums and I stumbled into this old photo of mine: another AKL view photo.

Gosh, there are just too many wonderful resort room views at WDW. *Sigh* I gotta quit viewing my photos...or else I'll be on the next flight to MCO...

Coronado Springs, Cabanas 8B, 2nd floor, corner room overlooking the lake. CS is our favorite resort!

Well, room 1262 at the Swan was nothing to complain about! The gentleman at the desk said "Oh, you have a wonderful room". My first instinct when I looked out was -oh, the canopy & parking lot!

However!!!! To the right - Tower of Terror (My fav park - I just kept staring at the tower). To the left I could see Spaceship Earth and the back of the Boardwalk buildings. Down past the bus pick up was the waterway to MGM with the Friendship boats cruising by.

In the distance to the right-DTD & Cirque building. Straight out the ?Ryman.

It was HEAVEN TO ME!!!!

Have never ever had a good view. I'm hoping that this trip w/WL Courtyard view will at least be able to see some sky and the inner courtyard/bay lake. And the later part of trip at BWI. Have only standard room booked but resort shouldn't be crowded then. Am crossing all fingers and toes that that I'll get a nice view there!!!!:Pinkbounc

Best view would have to be from the Polynesian LV in Hawaii! It is just awesome day or night and those fireworks over the 4th this year were unbelievable!

Second best would be the BW view over the pizza window. I love catching that last bit of sun in the early evening. I also like getting up in the middle of the night and watching CM's doing work on the BW. OH, and if I have to get up super early I can catch the view of a couple of people fishing off the boat dock on an excursion.Even if it is raining I will leave the door open and watch the boats come and go.

O.K. now I've made myself "HOME" sick!;)

Nice pics, Janet, of your resort views!!! Thanks for sharing them.:D
