What's the Best Thing You've Eaten at Disney?

Almond Crusted Cheesecake from Narcoosees.... :lovestruc

The best thing I had was a steak from the no longer :sad1: Concourse Steakhouse. Other than that 2nd would be anything at Teppan Edo.

Ok this thread is some serious torture for this prego lady:rotfl2:

A few of mine are:

1. Naan bread and the onion one ( can't remember name) with cucumber rita and mango chutney that you get at Sanaa.

2. The soft serve ice cream at MK park only ( I know I'm crazy but it tastes different from othe parks)

3. At Kouzzina for breakfast the spinach, tomatoe, and feta scrammbled eggs and classic golden waffle. For dinner I like the greek salad with chicken skewers added.

4. At Jiko I love the filet with mac and cheese ( you have to ask for it now not on menue).

5. The yellowfin tuna 3 ways at Califorina Grill.

Alright I need to stop now:rotfl:

We call that Indian (as in Native American) Fry Bread with Cinnamon Sugar here. Fry Bread has a whole bunch of uses so they never gave it another name, but Elephand Ear is something I've seen, never realized that a Beaver Tail was that as well.

The Native American Fry Bread I've had in the past is a bit different from the standard elephant ear - Elephant ears have tended toward the thinner and crispier, while fry bread is slightly thicker and less of that bubbly crisp outer layer. Though I admit my experience with genuine fry bread has been limited to one or two instances. Have they been largely the same in your experience?

Via Napoli- pizza with chicken sausage, onions and fontina cheese:lovestruc

Bluezoo- bbq shrimp appetizer

Le Celier - maple creme brulee

Italy - Rosa Regale with a piece of dark chocolate

Yeah fry bread is thick and not so much doughy as chewy not really crisp at all every though it's cooked in oil. I've never eaten an Elephant ear or Frybread with C/S as I don't like cinnamon but I do remember seeing a thinner 'elephant ear' type of thing at the funnel cake stands.

My favorite way to eat fry bread is with honey but I've been known to eat an Indian "Taco" as well which is frybread, chili meat, whole beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions and hot sauce (every tribe here has a version but Dan's Indian Tacos at our state fair are legend). Not sure why they call it a taco since it's served flat and eaten with a knife, fork and fingers, but it's pretty yummy. I don't think a thinner crisper bread would work at all.

Bread Pudding - O'hana.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :thumbsup2

That stuff is Heaven in a bowl!!!!!!!!!!

More favs
Sticky wings and fish tacos from Kona Cafe'
Filet from Le Cellier'
Burgers from Sci Fi
I know this sound weird but there is this ham glaze on the buffet at Tuskar House that is fab, I want to stick a straw in it and drink it.
The chocolate chip pastry at Cindy's Table, it's like you're eating chocolatey air.

I could just go on and on, but these are a few of my favorite things.

Mickey Bars are by far my favorite things to eat in The World. Unfortunately I only got one once on our trip last week.

And this is going to sound weird, but I love the beets and the red cabbage at the Biergarten. Yummm!!!

Oh, and I grew attached to the cinnamon bun at POFQ for breakfast. YUMMYY!!!

Two things from Ohana - the salad with the honey-key lime dressing, and the bananas foster bread pudding. :lovestruc

Also cheddar cheese soup from le Cellier. I SO wish they had a QS option in Canada where you could just pick up soup and breadsticks for a quick lunch.

Wagyu beef at Victoria & Alberts. It's an added cost upgrade on their price fixe menu but well worth it. Single best piece of meat I've had in my 56 years, anywhere on the planet.

For a dessert, it would be this chocolate peanut butter concoction that the pastry chef at bluezoo whipped up one night. I keep hoping that they will add it to their regular dessert menu but so far, no luck with that.

I don't know what it is about the iced cappuccino at Boulangerie Patisserie in Epcot. I love it. I attached one of my favorite pics of drinking it. As you can see, my family has taken to making fun of me about it. This was a few years ago in France. BTW - my youngest is drinking some strawberry drink, not the cappuccino.

Brasato Di Manzo Al Vino Rosso (braised short ribs) from Tuitto Italia. I still dream about it and am going to attempt to re-create it over Christmas if I can handle pouring 1-2 bottles of $30+ wine in a pot.

a close 2nd is the Cobb Salad from the Derby. I am a huge Cobb salad fan and it's hands down the best I've ever had.

I heard from a cast member that they are working on a cart to put out front of Le Cellier to sell soup and breadsticks from!!

I'll add Tonga Toast. I also love the onion roll and truffled mac & cheese at the Yachtsman.
