As a WDW cast member, I'm curious what everyone thinks would be the "best" restaurant on property. I've been to several, but am always curious of other people's opinions. Even though I've had some terrible trips there, Ohana still has my vote. Please, share your opinions.

That has to be V&A!!
With JIko, California Grill, Citricos and Flying Fish not far behind.

For us, its probably a tie between Artist Pointe and Le Cellier. I know a lot of people might say Cali Grill and we'll be trying that in October so maybe our fave will change!

Victoria and Albert!!!!!

It is one of only 46 restaurants in the entire country to which AAA has given the Five Diamond Award.

I haven't been to V&A, but its certainly POSITIONED as the best restuarant on property. Best restaurant I've been to is Flying Fish. My husband preferred Jiko (but enjoyed FF more than I enjoyed Jiko).

But "best" is not an easily defined term. Best in terms of food? Service? Atmophere? Value? Kid friendlyness? Disneyness?

I would have to say World Showcase has some of our favorites. My wife is going to miss Alfredos. I lean toward the restaurants at Epcot as it is my favorite park

For us (probably in this order based on food/service/atmosphere)
1)OHana's
2)LeCellier
3)Kona Cafe
4)Coral Reef
5) Alfredo's

Just my 2 cents worth.

Well in a way I would have to say O'Hana. I know its not the "best" food in the world in a gourmet sense, but that fun atmospere, the Lapu Lapu's (which lets face it make me happy enough to eat dog food with gusto) the views of the castle and the fact we always do that one our first or second night, then head to the MK to see Wishes and Spectro just make it the "best" for our family. I would also say Sci Fi (you guys will flame me to a charred ruin on that one) because again, its just about the atmosphere. I can get great food at home. But I love the theming of so many of the WDW eateries and I realize when I eat in the World, its all about the experience.

One nice meal I had that was more about the food was Hollywood Brown Derby. We sampled many things on the menu (large group) and it was all exceptional. We haven't been back however because I like Sci Fi better. Told you I was weird!

I couldn't name one because it depends on the type of experience I'm looking for which can be different on any given day.

It depends on if I'm looking for a loud, fun experience; a great meal with our favorite characters or a quiet place with my husband.

I would agree with Victoria & Albert's as #1. I'd then say Jiko's, California Grill, Le Cellier, Boma, and Bistro de Paris. This of course is from a food quality/food taste point of view. We loved the atmosphere at O'hanas as well as the proximity to the MK. We got a great view of the park from there as well so that was lovely.

Before our past trip in June, my DH and I would had to of said Coral Reef hands down. However, we went to Cali Grill and definately changed our minds. That was the best meal that I have ever had in any WDW restaurant, plus the view of MK and watching Wishes from the outside viewing area with a glass of wine in hand was just priceless :cloud9:

California Grill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

There are so many great restaurants and I certainly love all those already
mentioned. I guess I'd add to that list Yachtsman Steakhouse for high end
and Trail's End Buffet for casual dining. I also like the food at HDD. :thumbsup2

Never eaten at V&A, but have to agree with the previous poster who said that it's reputation has it better positioned to be the "best". That being said, my favorite that we've actually eaten at has to be Jiko.
