Question about kids club especially Edge.

Tweens ages 11 to 14 have a vibrant hangout all their own

We would have a just turned 11 year old and wondering is the Edge like the other kids club where they scan in the wrist band and you have to come to get them out? or is it more like a meeting/hang out area where the tweens come and go at there own will?

They can get in and out as they like. My son also join Edge when he had just turned 11 and I was also concerned. But he loved it they do cool heros and villains games and ice breakers, but they do go around the shop alone.

Thanks for answering. Did you son still get a wrist band when boarding or is this only for kids club. How do you keep a track on your child other wise especially if there is an emergency? I'm sure she would be happy to stay in the one place for a couple of hours till we came to get her ( as most of the time she will be with us checking out the boa,. in fact she probably will be with us the whole time.

No bracelet. He would generally just stay at the club, but if he needed something we would plan the next hour or so letting him know where we were going so for anything he could come to us .but yes not great I would have rather him having a way to contact me albeit this gave him a bit of independence he made good friends and they would just go and get ice cream together.

No, the departure was delayed. The port was closed down 30 minutes ago, so she should depart soonish. One commenter on the YouTube said rumor is 5 pm, so 11 am EST.

I just kinda wonder if/how Disney will succeed with an Asian market focused ship when the other lines have had to make changes and redeploy to match demand (Ovation now spending part of the year on the west coast for instance).
