What's recent experience with Trader Sam's at opening (4pm)?

Hi folks,

My wife and I will be visiting WDW in late June. One of our MK days has us eating dinner at BOG (our first dinner ). We'll be touring all day so we'll need a break around 3pm. Wondering what the wait times have been for getting into Trader Sam's at 4pm opening. I understand time of year will dictate a lot..........so we'll have challenges. Just curious what experiences folks have had lately.

In early December 2016, on a Saturday at 4:00, there was already an hour+ wait. On Sunday, we put our names on the list at 3:30 and got in right at 4:00; people coming in after us waited about 30-45 minutes. On Monday, there was no wait at all at 4:00. So, the day of the week mattered in that case (not surprising). We were staying at Poly so it was easy for us to check.

We showed up around 3:45 pm on a weekday the week before Christmas and had no trouble getting in. I would just head over when you are ready to take your break at 3 pm and go to the hallway near the Trader Sam's entrance to get in line.
