Thumper is my favorite Disney character. I tried using just Thumper, but it was already taken. So I needed something to go with it. Mostly everyone else I've seen use Thumper in their user names are women. Well I am a man, so that's how I came up with the Man part. Plus Thumper was also a male bunny, so it worked for me.
Add me to the non-creative bunch! Andrea is my first name, middle name starts with a D and last name starts with an M. It's a name I've used on other message boards as well and I tend to forget names and passwords if I have too many different ones.
Mine is pretty basic I think. Since Orlando is where we spent our Honeymoon it is also symbolic of where my newer and improved life began so I really do Luv Orlando. To me it means all the parks of WDW, Pleasure Island, Universal/IOA & Seaworld. Of course, I spelled it Luv instead of Love because I just have to be different and a little irreverent, it's what makes me ME
I really like reading about other people's names, Love the thread OP
The DIS was the first message board I joined and I couldn't think of a good name, so I took the 1st initial of each of my son's names and voila! I got married in 1995. Creativity at its finest!
BTW, I love reading threads like this, but I'm still waiting for Tinkled in Pants to post on one.
My first name is Melissa and a good friend nicknamed me Melmac in high school after the planet that Alf came from. There were several Melissas in our class so it was nice to be a little different. We don't talk anymore but I wish people would call me Melmac - I always liked that nickname.
I don't like having to have numbers in my userid, so I have to try to come up with something unique....
We are an Eeyore family. Eeyore always seems to invoke images of rainy days. But my DD loves to play, whether it's rainy or sunny out. And it all kind of rhymes.
DH's nickname for me from when we started dating is Karrie (friends in the past have tried to call me Kaz and I hate it but I like Karrie), and he has always declared that I was more rodent than human as I'm small and scurry around a lot hence 'karriemouse'!
I'm one of the legions of baby boomers who grew up watching "The Wonderful World of Color" (as I best remember it, but aka "Disneyland" "Walt Disney Presents" and "The Wonderful World of Disney") every Sunday night for years. I think all those hours of TV hypnotized me into loving Disney!
