OK, bear with me on this one.....

My daughter's name is Ariel. Ariel can swim for hours on end in the pool. She is, well, just like a mermaid. Therefore, I am mother to a mermaid. MerMom for short. 60 is the year I was born and 94 is the year she was born.

I can't tell you how many people on here think I am Jean from FL.

Mine is after the Maya tzolk'in calendar.

I studied archeoastronomy in college and thought I would pick something interesting that reflects my background. This calendar combines a 20 and 13 day cylcle. I was married on the 13th and also went to Colgate University (everything is all about the 13 there ) The 260 days of the calendar also corresponds with the length of a pregnancy. And I just like the name.

When I was thinking of a username for the DIS, I didn't want it to be something "disneyish" because I love ALL of Florida. At the time, my husband and I were sure we would retire to Florida after our youngest graduated from high school, and we have taken many trips to Florida. So...luvflorida!

Two problems with my username:
1. People have said that they've always thought I lived in Florida. That used to get confusing when I lived in Maine and would post about snow.

2. We ended up relocating to Arizona a few years ago instead of Florida.

So, I'm the person that lived in Maine, loves Florida, but now lives in Arizona.

I thought that the first time or two I saw your name, but when I looked more closely I read it as Gee-Ful instead.

There are several that I read as one ridiculous word instead of abbreviations or initials.

I am Ursula on another Disney board. When I joined here, Ursula was already taken. I have yet to see that name, though.

I collect handbags. I don't often collect the most expensive, though. I thought this name was a fun play on words and I'd never use my real name.

But, The Husband hates the name. He says it makes me look poor.
