My 180 day mark was yesterday morning. I went online at 0600 ET and got everything I wanted, except the Fantasmic pkg and the Plaza Restaurant. You have to call of course for the Fantasmic pkg, but what confused me were the Plaza and Rose & Crown. When I typed in Rose & Crown for anytime during the first five nights of my trip, nothing was available but several times for Le Cellier popped up as an alternative. I was finally able to get Rose & Crown, but not until the seventh night of the trip. Le Cellier was available all week with lots of different times.
The kicker was the Plaza though. I wanted an early lunch, but could only get a late 1:30pm lunch and
only on the sixth day. However, the alternatives that popped up were CRT, Crystal Palace, and Chef Mickey's.
When I called at 0700 ET to try to get a Fantasmic pkg for either night that Fantasmic is showing May 1st-9th, Mama Melrose was not available either night, but Brown Derby and Hollywood & Vine were both available both nights. I asked if maybe Mama Melrose had not been loaded into the system yet. She checked and said it had but the pkgs were already gone for both nights. This was at exactly 0700 ET. I then asked her to check to see what was going on with the Plaza and told her how CRT, CM, and CP had all showed up as alternatives. She laughed, said no way, then checked, and sure enough, even though the Plaza opens at 11:30am, nothing was showing up that entire week until 1:30pm on Thursday. What! I can eat with Cinderella in the castle, with Pooh and the gang at CP, and with Mickey and the gang at CM, but I can't get a hamburger and ice cream at the Plaza?
Since when did the Plaza become more popular than the character meals and since when did the Rose & Crown become more popular than Le Cellier?
