We are throwing some sirloin steaks on the grill. Not my fav cut, but they were on sale. :thumbsup2 I am totally craving the Applebee's Shrimp and Parmesan steak topper.. drool.. but it's too late now. Not going back to the grocery store and don't have the ingredients required to try to copy it - namely the shrimp. So plain ol' steak with maybe some A1 for me.

Making mashed potatoes and gravy on the side, and also having sauteed spinach with lemon and garlic. I will make another veggie (probably one of those frozen steamer bags, I have a couple of them in the freezer) for the non-spinach eaters.

Hooray for Friday!

Going camping - tonights feature: Pastrami cheese burgers

I'm being very bad....my boyfriend and I already have a date to go to a Chinese buffet tomorrow, but I ordered Cheese Rangoon and General Tso's chicken for dinner tonight anyway.

Oh my gosh Cheese Rangoon!! *wiping drool off keyboard* That's my favorite! maybe I should find a way to put THAT on top of my steak!

mmm I love the cheese rangoon too! And we're having chinese here as well. Maybe I should call in and add it in.

Wherever DH decides to take me when he gets home...

I am NOT cooking tonight!

Going to a big wing joint to hear a band play and eating some hot wings!

Well, I had most of my food...the dogs are such beggars that I ended up giving them a little bit of everything, too - including splitting the egg roll that came with the dinner in half and giving each one of them half of it. I don't spoil them

Tonight is chicken & dressing & veggies. Tomorrow morning I'm putting several brats in the crockpot with a bottle of German beer for dinner. Yummy!

I'll have a baked potato at the ballgame (no dogs for me). Leftovers at home for Mom. I have no kitchen for another week (it got torn up on Monday, granite gets placed on Monday). The cooking in the microwave and on the BBQ isn't bad, it's the washing dishes in the laundry room sink that's the pain. (and yes, I'm using paper plates.)

We had a crazy day. Two lunches, an early lunch and a late one. No one was very hungry. We had cereal for dinner. :upsidedow

I had a grilled cheese... DBF is out with the guys tonight....

I haven't had an oven for a few weeks so we have been eating out too much. I needed to clean out the fridge so we had steaks on the grill, corn off the cob, zucchini with tomatoes and onions, home fries and grilled asparagus with watermelon for dessert.

I love to go to the farmers market so I cleaned out and am ready to go again!

Wow that sounds awesome. :)

We made homemade pizza. The kids wanted to go out for chinese but dh and I didn't feel like going so we decided to make the pizza. Chinese tomorrow.

What's planned for this evening, guys?

It one of those "too hot to cook" days (90° - way too hot for MT). I made a quick "ham and cheese sandwich" pasta salad: all the ingredients of the sandwich, except the bread, in a macaroni salad - diced ham, diced cheddar, diced pickles, mayo and mustard. We have some brats we picked up at costco that are "chicken, white cheddar, and spinach". We will cook those on the BBQ, with a few regular hot dogs for the kiddos, and have those with the salad. Lots of iced tea and cold juice to drink.

I made stuffed peppers and rice (red peppers were on sale .99/lb this week).

I WAS making shish-ka-bobs with peppers, onions, pineapple, zuchini, squash and sirloin steak marinated in a hawaiian marinade. Sides were to be locally grown corn on the cob (and of course the veggies on the shish-ka-bobs are kinda sides, too..)

DH ate at his mom's, though, so I ordered a pineapple pizza and cheesy bread for me. :)

Guess the shish-ka-bobs can wait for tomorrow.

Beer brats are cooking in the crockpot. They smell divine & I can't wait to nosh on them for dinner. Just need to figure out what to put with them.
