What's for dinner?

DH just ran to pick up a pizza and a movie.

My son is going to sleep away camp tomorrow so I asked him what he wanted for dinner before he left. Soooo, dinner is a totally winter meal: meatloaf, mashed taters (the ready made ones in the fridge section) and corn.

We had BLTs.

A casserole with spagetti noodles, corn, mozzarella cheese, chicken, milk mix togather bake and walla supper is ready.

Tonight we had tilapia (dipped in flour with cajun seasoning) saute' some peppers and onions then put it on top. We also had sweet baked potatoes.

Very good meal everyone enjoyed it.

Appetizers here- homemade wings, store bought potato skins and onion rings.

I am totally craving the Applebee's Shrimp and Parmesan steak topper.. drool.. but it's too late now.

I was going out so DBF had eaten before I got home, so I made peanut butter toast... it was so good to have a simple meal...


BTW thanks for starting this thread.... I just finished school and want to start cooking again, I mean like real cooking....so keep the ideas coming

No - I WISH!

Its just an option offered on the menu at Applebee's Restaurants. For a smallish price upgrade you have have your steak topped with one of several options. This is a cheesy white sauce mixed with parmesan and about 6 seasoned, well-cooked shrimp. It makes for a very yummy steak.

I have tried to replicate it at home, and never had much luck.

It was pizza night for us tonight. Onion and garlic on the whole thing, with tomatoes on my half and pepperoni on DH's half. Yum!
