I wish you were my neighbor. Around here I am the only one toting out cocktails. Oh well, it's a tough job but someone has to do it.......
I changed plans; I'm having major throat issues and am just really uncomfortable.
Ross isn't going to school today as he feels awful with is cold and is achy(sp?). I don't know if he will make his tournament tomorrow or not.
I am going to make chicken parmasan and spaghetti tonight, with garlic bread.
How do y'all pound your chicken down? I have tried a few ways and become just really frustrated - plus that chicken is slippery!
Morning all--
Ross isn't going to school today as he feels awful with is cold and is achy(sp?). I don't know if he will make his tournament tomorrow or not.
Supper tonight is no clue at the moment, I will check back in this afternoon to see if we have an update on Nancy and maybe by then I will have a clue as to what we will be eating tonight.
Happy Friday all
Glynis--I have smiled all day thinking of you and your mom buying crocs,Mind if I share a mom story of my own?......
Last summer my mother ended up in the nursing home for rehab, her feet were swollen, and she couldn't get into any shoes but her slippers, the P/T were worried that she would fall while learning to walk again, so I went and bought her a pair of crocs in her favorite color bright Purple!! Well, she was so tickled, and loved them and the therapists were so thankful as it was a perfect shoe to have her in. Fast forward to this past Dec. after we had left florida, and we were in N.C., my dad sent me a picture he had taken with his phone of her out walking with her walker, and though it is a bit blurry you can make out those bright crocs anywhere.....this is the last photo we have of her.
This is why you and your mom croc shopping made me happy all day, so thanks---I hope you two had a wonderful time!!
I have a question -- some of you were talking about a ritz/parmesan chicken a couple of days ago. Is that recipe in this thread or the old one?
Have a great day everyone!![]()
Ended up making a sort of chicken piccata.
I changed plans; I'm having major throat issues and am just really uncomfortable.
The citrus chicken was amazing! I doubled the recipe and I am glad that I did because we have leftovers. Kady said it was the best dinner she ever had, and from a kid who has never, not ever touched stuffing that is high praise. "You know who" was not commenting too much, but I figure "Nan's Nemesis" is going to be choking it down a lot, becasue if Nan's Angel likes it I cook it.
I think this one is Glynis's, and it is a keeper.
Lauren- you are running too much. It is really catching up with you. Take it easy, the errands and the dust and the rest will be there tomorrow.
Laura- that salmon looks delicious!
Thanks for the well wishes, my friends. Marisa will check in when we get home.
Kat, Love your new ticker...I am so MAD about cutie Michael John!
I think I am making wings before A's opening day and game then Chinese after...it is too early to eat a big meal before the activities.
Glad you and Kady liked it! It's really yummy, huh? I was surprised that my picky eaters gave it the thumbs up, too!
This is my notice that my family and I will be out of town until Wednesday night. It's spring break here, and we're taking my mom home, and then going to tour some of the national parks in our state. Our kids have never done that, and we have some gorgeous places here! I'll try to remember to take some pictures for y'all!
