Hi Lori!!! How've you been? Hadn't chatted with you in a while!

Yes they do still have that program. And even though she's in a Catholic school, she did bring home the JP forms for testing early in the year.

Hi Sheryl :wave2:
Been okay - life's been crazy. I peek in now and again here and at the NOLA thread.
My kids went to catholic school too, that's why I mentioned it; glad you are aware of it. They did the re-evaluation of my son in 7th grade (ADHD - the counselor suggested it before he headed to high school) and they were pretty thorough.

Afternoon Y'all,

Thanks Girls!! :goodvibes for all the prayers & good wishes!!! I really believe it helped he actually paid attention to what I had to say! :wizard:

He agreed that all of my pain & numbness is not due solely to fibro. But also due to some degenerating discs in my upper spine. He ordered another x-ray to get a different view & to decide if I need see a neuro. for further treatment on that. I told him that last night I had taken a smaller dose of the muscle relaxer early at 7:00 & then took lunesta at bedtime and that it was the best night's sleep I had in a long time. And he said that was actually going to be his next recommedation. He gave me prescriptions for both & I went have the x-ray. I'll have another follow-up in a couple of weeks. He really thinks that if I can get better sleep, that the pain will improve.

zipuzee, We've missed you here & on the Nola thread. Sorry life has you spinning! You need to chime in more often!

Wendie & Laura, Since you both are giving me the same advice, I think I'd better listen!!! I will speak to Chris about it & one of us will speak to the teacher. Thanks y'all!

I'm getting ready to start on dinner, the dish Becky fixed last night. I hit Whole Foods again, after I was done with the doc & xrays. I bought an italian white wine I've never tried before, Orviete. I asked the WF wine person for recommendations to go with this dish & I'll let y'all know how it turns out! Y'all have a good evening!

WFD tonight? Gonna throw some shrimp, veggies and sauce together and have it with rice noodles.

I had a really good sandwich for lunch today. Put turkey, low fat provolone cheese, slivers of red onion, spicy brown mustard and canned jellied cranberry sauce on wheat bread and toasted it in the toaster oven at work.

Sheryl- I am so glad that he listened. I will continue to pray that your pain lessons and that the Dr can determine exactly what is going on.

I like the name of your wine. Let us know how it is.

Gina- Do you mean DB is cute in his uniform??????? :cutie: DH was a FF so I went to the parades way back when. I got so tired of them, but now we scope out a good spot, park the truck there early and we pack our chairs and have a great time. DH nephews are FF now so we have to watch them pass by. His older one is in college for an arson investigator. Now he looks so darn cute in his uniform too.

Dinner was on the fly but it was really good. I made a big salad and doctored up some red sauce, added some frozen meatballs and served it on Barilla whole wheat pasta. Marisa passed on the MB's but said her whole meal was 5 points. Erica was not here tonight. She went to the dentist and ended up having a root canal :scared:

Hey all--had a long day of work today, but managed some beef enchiladas (Old El Paso recipe), Mexicorn (canned veggie) and refried beans. Not Julia Childs, but tasty and easy!:thumbsup2

Hey Y'all,

Well the time it took Becky to make that egg dish & the time it took me, must be the difference between a gourmet chef & ...uh me! Well ... I knocked my already dressed salad onto the floor & had to start over on that. I decided to roast some cherry tomatoes to add to the salad. And by the time I went to cut the feta cheese, it had sat out too long & was too soft to cut! So that had to go into the freezer to chill quickly so I could cut it. Whew! But it was absolutely delicious though!

Well here's my pic of dinner. The only changes I made to Becky's was to add the roasted tomatoes and proscuitto. Please don't compare mine to Becky's but Bob was impressed so here's the pic!

The wine went very well with the dish, but didn't taste all that special. Very much like a Pinot Grigio.

Thanks again y'all for the prayers! To me this thread is more about friendship than it is about the food! :goodvibes :grouphug:

Nice job, I am impressed! I showed my DH, he said it looked good but where was the meat!:rotfl: Prayers still coming your way.

WFD- grilled marinated chicken breast for me & thighs for DH. Oven roasted broccoli and mashed potatoes.

I ordered myself a new style CROCS yesterday, the niles. Between free dining and new CROCS I can't wait for WDW in September!:cool1:

Okay, what exactly is mud day? Inquiring minds are at it again

I think I am fixing the citrus chicken from this thread. I have a lot to get done this morning though and need to be at the nursing home for lunch, sylvan with Kady after that so wish me luck! Or my family luck.....if I don't cook they wind up with take out

Sheryl, that looks really good! Nice job on the eggs.

Last night I made turkey burgers. I usually don't liike turkey burgers but these were really moist and tasty. They had worcestershire, soy, ketchup, onion, garlic, foccacia crumbs, and hot suace mixed in with the meat. I also chopped up a little butter and blended that in to give them extra moistness. I served them on baguette with some arugula, tomatoes, and red onions, and topped them with some agred gouda cheese. Here they are:
