Lauren - I'd like hockey too if I were able to watch it from the catered box.
Kathy - Great pics of your boy! And I'm glad to hear he has such a caring
friend to help him through the Abi breakup. I'm sure she had nothing but sincere motives and the budding romance was never on her mind.

But nothing like a new girl to make him forget the old girl.
I didn't know the Stepson was thinking adoption, but it certainly sounds like the best thing. I hope they will make the right decision.
Glynis - I hope your niece makes the right decision too. I can tell you from experience - I worked in a law office when I was much, much younger and we did some private adoptions - that the absolute joy these babies bring to a loving couple is indescribable. We never did an adoption that didn't bring us all to tears.
Nancy - Glad to see Buddy is getting his weekly sandwich quota.

I wish Kenny were so easy to please. But he is getting downright high maintenance. Although since he was living on fast food when we got married, I think I created this monster.
Sheryl - Love the pizza photos. Call me crazy, but I think the blob one looked delish.
Wendie - I have no words for your MiL. None I can put here anyway. I'm proud of you for not responding too. I'm trying to be more like that myself, and wow is it hard. And, for the record, I agree with everyone else - you need to eat. I know you don't really want to, but you need to. If I were there, I'd make several batches of comfort food, southern style. However, I recommend baked mac and cheese and fried chicken (Kathy would have to make that, I'm still not a good fried chicken girl); or country fried steak with gravy and rice. Nothing like fat and carbs to provide comfort. Can you see where these extra pounds came from?
Janice - Glad to see you defeated the paperwork monster this week. Enjoy your weekend.
Lindsay - I'm glad to see you feel better. Have fun today.
Tonight we are going to my mother's for dinner. Actually, Dad is doing most of the cooking - hamburgers on the grill. Simple, but one of my favorites. And it means we get dinner and I don't have to cook it. Again, one of my favorites.
Back to work.
