I took annalise to the doc and she is going to make it! The bruising is bad & deep but her ribs and liVer and spleen seem ok. The doc was livid that there was no accident report and he said $10 bucks in coupons was nowhere near enough! He thinks I should make a stink.
She was lucky though. I never really thought about that way. If that counter had hit her toes they would have been smashed! As it is now she is purple from armpit to armpit but had it hit lower it could have damaged organs. I'm very thankful! I'm heading out to see the counter in a bit

Yikes......I just got done reading all of the post about your baby girl......I am glad to hear that she is ok and checked out by the doctor. As soon as I read your post the first thing I thought of was her ribs, and like someone else mentioned her internal organs.....her heart...omg. I look at my daughter who is 8 and I couldnt imagine something that big and heavy falling on her. I will just keep Annalise and your family in my prayers that whatever your decided course of action, if it be any, that things are go well and are made clear. Blessing to you both!

The only problem is that he won't let me employ tank heavy formations. Commando leaves too much to chance if the objective has good defensive fires.

You should be OK. You're armed with beer and kungaloosh, all they have to return fire is hot fudge and strawberry syrup. Maybe a waffle cone if they get lucky. (Bring a few otters, they should be good at the commando stuff.)

Well I feel better...
I spoke with the owner who sounded sincere when he said he was unaware that anyone was hurt. He apologized profusely offered to pay her medical bills and is making her a cake. He had the counter replaced by a different contractor who says the old one was held on by nothing but glue!!! I'd like to know that contractor so I know never to hire him! Overall I think we all got pretty lucky. Annalise could have been hurt worse and if it had been somebody else there might be a cold stone creamery in its place.

Annalise drinks A LOT of milk! It would take more than a stinkin counter to break her! Lol

It was good that you went to the doc and got your DD checked over and that she is alright.
