We are having a memories wedding on july 30th at 9am , then we have a breakfast schedualed at Kona for the whole family.
my parents will have the kids for the wedding night, probably the one and only night we will have alone ;)
I will state that we live together and have weekends to ourselves at least once a month because the kids go to their grandma's :thumbsup2
So, all that being said, we were trying to figure out what to do on our newly wed night (besides the obvious)LOL.
I first thought cali grill or one of the signatures, then I thought the night in, then wanyama safari (we are staing in kidani village)

any thoughts ????

I would either do one of the fireworks cruises at Epcot/MK or eat at California Grill and watch the fireworks.

i would go somewhere fabulous for an early-ish dinner, drink wine, kick back and go to the safari as well the next morning! maybe even go to a park a little while in the afternoon, were i knew i wouldn't run into family, with the hats and buttons and all and ride some rides!

Hey, you are getting married the day before me!! :dance3: Since our wedding is also in the morning, we are planning on going back to the hotel after the reception and taking a nap. Then we are going to MK because I made an ADR at CRT since we have never eaten there before, so figured it would be "magical" to have our first newlywed dinner at the castle. We are very excited for it!

What about the Poly beach for a Dole Whip, the Electrical Water Pageant, and Wishes? You'd still get that 'Disney magic' along with romance and a little privacy. If you can swing it, I'd say one of the fireworks cruises, but since I'm a starving student I tend to consider the cheapest options, lol

Could you arrange to have a private meal made by Disney catering for you in your Villa? Maybe out on the balcony (if you have one). Then you could have some privacy, a great meal, and then wake up and do the safari. This is the number for catering: 321-939-7278

I like the code word nap :) Just kidding. Sounds like a great plan and congrats!

The safari sounds wonderful. :lovestruc

You could also arrange for a lovely in room surprise when you got back, champagne can be left or a special cake etc.

Our reception will be done by 4pm and we are guessing we will head back to our resort around 5ish. We are planning on checking out our room and the resort (WL HM suite!!:goodvibes) & if we can muster up the energy, we are going to take a boat over to the Poly to relax and watch the Electric Water Parade and Wishes on the beach:cloud9: To me, that is one of the most romantic things to do in WDW.:cloud9:

I vote for napping ;)

Our reception was over by 6ish and we went to our room, my mom came up to take the wedding stuff with her to her hotel room and then we hung out in the room. We were on concierge level so we also went to the lounge and had drinks and snacks. The later we had desserts and wine.
