What will make you sell?

Only if we had to because of finances.

We are relatively new members.

We've only had great experiences. The only thing that would get us to sell our SSR contract is if we start not being able to use it anywhere else. We love VAK, so even if we were "stuck" there, I don't think we would sell.

As it is, the only times we haven't been able to get exactly what we want at 7 months (or less), we've gotten a second/third choice that we are very happy with. Like for our upcoming trip, we managed to get a Treehouse for 5 nights during the week before Easter at 4 or 5 months out. And while we weren't able to get BLT or BCV for the remaining 3 days of that trip, we did get BWV after about a week on the waitlist.

I did sell for the following reasons:

1) I bought at Vero instead of VWL which were both being pushed when I bought. The Vero Dues were too high for me when comparing to other resorts

2) I was getting married and buying a house and had a Kid on the way.


seeing that I wanted to own soemwhere else and it was a way to get some cash I sold my 250 points at Vero. I did it about 6 months befor teh bottom fell out of vero as well so my timing could not have been better.

Now My wife and I are looking at re-sales to get back in. I frequent this section of Disboards and everyones comlaints and the changes don't deter me from buying back in. We are concentrating on BWV.
