What will happen if....

My Mother in Law doesn't go! I have all of my ADR's lined out for Party of 5 during October. My MIL is planning to go with us so I booked accordingly.
However, she has several health problems and I am afraid that she may end up canceling on us last minute., which would leave us as a party of 4.
Can I just show up to the restaurants and tell them we are a party of 4 and MIL was sick and didn't make it?
Not sure what to do if this happens. I don't want to lose all of my ADR's that I made months in advance if she doesn't make the trip!
What can I do to prevent this??

Will I be charged the $10 fee if she doesn't come? Or is that only charged when the entire party if a no show?

You should not be charged the fee if one person can't make it.
