What were YOUR wedding colors?

Pink, white, and silver.

Our's were dark green (his favorite color) and gold (a concession to my favorite color, yellow, heh) It was really quite lovely and fancy-looking, even though it was a budget wedding! :lovestruc

We got married 2 months ago at Disney. Our theme was around the Little Mermaid...
Our bridesmaids were in jade (think ariels tail) and carried purple hydrangaes. The guys were in black tuxes with a royal purple vest.

it really looked nice.

Lavendar and Coral. Those are my two favorite colors. The woman at the bridal store said she couldn't see those two colors going together but it was beautiful and we got lots of compliments!

You girls have given me such inspiration!! Hm.. now, how to choose my colors???

Eggplant. :rotfl2:

What can I say? I LOVE a deep purple color and that was the color of the dresses.

Dark Blue and Light Blue
but ended up more blue and purple
Oh well

Ours were Purple and Teal. Deep shade of Purple, think Charlotte Hornets colors! My bridesmaides were teal and the groomsmen wore vest withs teal and purple paisley. It was very pretty together.

As funny as this is -- I ended up with pink & blue -- pastels and got married the Saturday before Mother's Day. The thing is, the 2 were NOT related. I wanted a rainbow wedding, so really had 4 colors but only 2 people standing with me. The colors were basically blue, pink, green & yellow.

I just cracked up when I realized our wedding was the day before Mother's day and the colors I used. I'm betting everyone thought we did that on purpose.

My niece is getting married this summer and she is using Fuschia (hot pink) & lavender for her colors.

We also had a christmas wedding, 15 years ago now. Our colors were blue and white, the bridesmaid's dresses were an iridescent blue, it was called navy, but really shimmered from black to royal blue. They were trimmed with black lace insets. The guys wore black tuxes with navy ties, etc. My flowers were mostly white with touches of navy seed pearls etc, the girls' flowers were white, navy, and cornflower blue, the cake was white with navy and cornflower blue flowers on it. Can you tell I love blue?? :rotfl:

Married in June of 1989. My bridesmaids wore long dress with an ivory bodice and a black straight skirt. Their flowers were ivory with touches of pink lillies. The groomsmens and DH wore traditional black tuxedos with ivory shirts. I was in an ivory gown. I thought it looked beautiful.

Our wedding colors were burgundy and Ivory.

I was married over 2 years ago...But even before we got engaged we had talked about colors for our wedding. So we had them set for a good 2 years before we even got engaged.

Colors are great, it makes the wedding unique and fun, but don't get too hung up on what they will be, or what shade is perfect, as the main thing you will remember most isn't the colors, but the people who celebrate with you.

Congratulations! :)

I guess I should also note that we didn't...or should I say I didn't go exactly with the color scheme when I picked out the bridesmaid dresses. My bridesmaids dressed in more of a champagne color, which worked out well, but goes to show you that plays on the color scheme adds to the wedding.
