Wait a minute . . . are people saying that they eat the eggs after they colour them? Is that safe?
Oh, sure. We don't usually hide the real eggs but plastic eggs filled with candy. The eggs come out of the fridge to eat during the day or for egg salad/deviled eggs.
However, it's only supposed to be about 36 degrees here in mid-Michigan on Easter. So, I'm guessing that hiding them outside would be pretty close to hiding them in a fridge anyway.

What can I say? I've managed to get through 39....um....uh.....I mean 29 years (yeah, that's it) without dying from the dyed eggs. I'm a thrill seeker I guess

Now as an adult, I even use them for deviled eggs, potato salad etc. Still alive and somewhat normal
