What was your major in college?

Political Science, and my job has nothing to do with my degree. After 2 1/2 years as a SAHM, I am going back into the workforce starting Monday.

I graduated with an Elementary Teaching degree with my major being Psychology and my minor Sociology.:D

im in college now, but im majoring in early childhood education (infants -3rd grade) with a minor in either psych or sociology

I'll be finished in May, and my major is Public Health.

I am going to start applying for medical school soon, so I needed a science based major and Public Health was the most interesting.

Major: English
Minor: Political Science

I knew from an early age that I wanted to be an attorney. I always did very well in English and really enjoyed it, so I majored in it. I figured the constant reading and writing would be helpful when I did enter lawschool. I graduated from lawschool last May, took the bar in February, and I will get my results next week!

Started as Theater/Communications, and is now Elementary/Secondary Education.

:D

I majored in Elementary Education and yes, I am a teacher. I'll be starting my grad classes this summer for Special Education and Literacy. I can't picture myself doing anything other than teaching, except maybe being a professional musician, but even then, I'd still be trying to teach in some form or another.

I had planned on going to Law School. After working in a law office I decided that was not for me. My current job has more to do with the experience I gained working in law (I am a contracts administrator) but I do get special projects to utilize my Public Relation skills (so my portfolio is still growing).

Major: Geo-Environmental Engineering

Work for a state pollution control agency till my job was eliminated. Solved a problem because I was pregnant with my first at the time. Now I run my own direct selling business while the kids are in school full time. I loved my major field, but I love the job I have now even though it is just about as far from engineering as you can get.

My graduate degree is in music then I did a post grad in Education. I teach 7 year olds now and am responsible for music and computers within the school.

BBA--Marketing
BBA--Management
AA--Interior Marketing and Design
AA--Advertising
AA--Fashion Merchandising
Minor--English

I worked in Advertising for 11 years before I became a SAHM. I went back to work part time (15 hrs. a week) in September at my kids' elementary school. I am running a 5th grade reading program, and also supervise the playground during lunch recess.

It's not exactly what I thought I would be doing with my degrees, but I am looking to get back into advertising or interior design which is my true love. I'm only working at the school because the principal called and asked me. I guess they were desperate for help. :teeth:

I was planning on a double major -- history and English. ended up with a major in hisotry and a minor in English, then went ot law school.
