I knew from an early age that I wanted to be an attorney. I always did very well in English and really enjoyed it, so I majored in it. I figured the constant reading and writing would be helpful when I did enter lawschool. I graduated from lawschool last May, took the bar in February, and I will get my results next week!
I majored in Elementary Education and yes, I am a teacher. I'll be starting my grad classes this summer for Special Education and Literacy. I can't picture myself doing anything other than teaching, except maybe being a professional musician, but even then, I'd still be trying to teach in some form or another.
Major: Public Relations
Minor: Business Administration
I had planned on going to Law School. After working in a law office I decided that was not for me. My current job has more to do with the experience I gained working in law (I am a contracts administrator) but I do get special projects to utilize my Public Relation skills (so my portfolio is still growing).
Work for a state pollution control agency till my job was eliminated. Solved a problem because I was pregnant with my first at the time. Now I run my own direct selling business while the kids are in school full time. I loved my major field, but I love the job I have now even though it is just about as far from engineering as you can get.
My graduate degree is in music then I did a post grad in Education. I teach 7 year olds now and am responsible for music and computers within the school.

I worked in Advertising for 11 years before I became a SAHM. I went back to work part time (15 hrs. a week) in September at my kids' elementary school. I am running a 5th grade reading program, and also supervise the playground during lunch recess.
It's not exactly what I thought I would be doing with my degrees, but I am looking to get back into advertising or interior design which is my true love. I'm only working at the school because the principal called and asked me. I guess they were desperate for help.
