The first table service restaurant I ate at was Liberty Tree Tavern at MK in Feb. 2011. My mom, stepdad and I walked up (so naive of us!) and wound up waiting about an hour for a table. Wasn't a big deal back then, we didn't mind waiting, but had I known about how to plan a WDW trip back then, I would have made reservations well in advance.
Did you love it/hate it?
We loved it. They had this delicious jalapeno cheddar soup that was to die for; we wound up getting the last two bowls of it. I've gone back since then, but they don't serve it anymore.

We did try the ooey gooey toffee cake, and were hooked.
Did it become a family tradition?
I've been back since, on a solo trip in November 2012, but since the opening of BOG, I haven't been back, and simply opt for CHH nearby for QS instead.
Do you refuse to go within a hundred feet of the place?
I'd go back if I weren't on the QSDP this upcoming trip, and I do recommend it, especially compared to the other table service restaurants in MK (Tony's, etc). I like the hearty, All-American, stick-to-your-ribs meals they serve there. Sometimes, it's just nice to have comfort food from home, if you know what I mean.
